Gee, that's informative! Obviously all the plants havent released that information yet, or I wouldnt be asking the question. So does anyone know what the "framework agreement" consists of? Beaver Breath wrote: The same Framework Agreement was given to all 12 I.A.C. plants that are U.A.W.

They posted some sort of ridiculous proposals on our board in Greencastle yesterday and I received an email from one of our bargaining committee stating they will not agree to concessions. We all need to unite with this. They told us no more last time. Greencastle is not losing money Ross and his people are just getting greedy.

The company(IAC) and the UAW agree that the following proposal will be presented to each local union bargaining committee by iac and no other economic proposal will be discussed or proposed. The company understands that its up to each individual plant to ratify these proposals and that the specific implamentation dates and three year experation date will be referenced in the local agreement. If an individual plant membership does not ratify these proposals their current CBA will continue until expiration at which a successor agreement will be negotiated.

Heard this today at Strasburg. The union officials said that Sidney, Lebanon, and Sheboygan plants were closing and that the Strasburg plants had to give some more. We heard that the Sidney was going to be closed, no questions asked. Wondering how much of what we heard is true. Any comments???

They told us that they were looking at closing Sidney, Sheboygan and Lebanon. Nothing about no questions. But then they are not going to tell us that. "Life will go on". Un-employment, TAA Schooling, welfare with free insurance. Hell life is looking good LOL. Might be better then working for I.A.C. and there falling wages. Keep working all, I'll be depending on your welfare money. Just remember " YOU CONTROL YOUR OWN DESTINY "

I thought Strasburg had a union meeting this week also? Did your reps not give you the facts yet? Evidently not, because the rumors you are passing are only 2/3 true!
