Giant Eagle or bust. I cannot begin to count the number of free 30-gallon fillups I've had. Yea!
Yet, everything at Giant Eagle is $1 more expensive; so, you don't save anything.

It's good to see an Ohio-based company thrive. They're one of Ohio's largest employers, too. That's why this is a good story for today.

Dear Kroger,
Thank you for increasing the cost of your groceries to subsidize your gas stations. Fuel Points might be great for a family of four with 2 cars. For the single person or childless couples who spends $50-100 a week on groceries, it is worthless.
Oh and Giant Eagle is any better..........so people just like to complain!

Krogers hires only wrote:
Krogers hires only squeaky clean people. Krogers wants your money yet they place their grocery stores in low income areas and won't give felons a second chance to enter the workforce doing anything for their company. I can't see how this practice helps the communities whose money they accept but won't give felons a second chance. Krogers I feel should help the communities they place their stores in if they want our money. You may not have a criminal record but I guarantee you know someone that does. Let Kroger know if you disagree with their hiring practices.
Hey goofball Ohio State won't hire you either if you have a recent felony and the State of Ohio makes you pee in a cup to make sure you aren't doing drugs so get off your high horse. As the largest traditional grocery store in the whole nation I can say with 110% accuracy that they have stores in more places than the low income areas. Just because you have a felony does not mean you should be hired.

Everything is marked up a dollar - really that means that can of beans I bought for 69 cents Giant Eagle would have paid me 21 cents for it if they didn't have a rewards program - WOW we are really getting screwed!

Nothing is free. Its just a shell game to make you think you are getting a deal. You save a few cents on gas, but they make up the cost by increasing grocery prices.

NON-STORY
Silly Shocker don't you know anything? This is the Dispatch, a rag papaer that has to supplement it's own headlines with the MAJOR Ohio city headlines since everyday in columbus is a sloooooooooow news day. Seriously on any given day there will be 5 to 10 stories from Cleveland and Cincinnati yet when I read through each of those papers there is never a mention of anything from columbus, nothing. Hey dispatch .... ole Mrs. Crabtree is playing her jazz to loud again, send all your reporters asap!!!!!!!

They need to open bathrooms to go with these stations. I'm tired of taking

The gas at Giant Eagle in Gahanna is 10 percent ethanol. The sign on the pump says so. I only fill up with that when I have lots of $$ in fuel perks to use to make up for the decrease in fuel mileage the car gets with E10.
