2. If you reduced Mr. Dillon's salary to $400,000, that means each of Kroger's 290,000 employees would get a whopping $18.62 a year, or 36 cents a week.

3. If you reduced Mr. Dillon's salary to $400,000, why would he want the hassle of running a big corporation when a top flight doctor or lawyer could make similar money without having to deal with 290,000 employees.

4. If you reduced Mr. Dillon's salary to $400,000, you would only be able to get some incompetent dope like Obama to do his job.
