Exactly why WalMart is desparately needed in Westerville! Drive those prices lower!!! It stinks that Kroger and GE are not accountable to the consumer. They sell just as much "cheap Chi-com crap" that Krogo and Iggle. P.S. I shop at Marcs for grocery and Iggle for meat and the gas points. Kjrogo is a rip-off they won't let you use your phone # as you customer ID# for gas discounts. Look into that Dillon would ya.

In the 90's is when Cub Foods left the Columbus Market.
I don't shop much at Aldi's but I will say, my favorite aspect of shopping there is there are not carts in the parking lot. I wish the others stores would have a similar concept as I am tired of the lazy bums who can't possibly walk two car spots over to properly put their cart away. Make 'em pay a quarter for the privelege of a cart.
Was living in Dayton in the 90s, so was unaware Cub even tried this market.

Aldi's, at least the closest one to me, is a dump. The produce there is never fresh, there is not much selection in the produce department, and their store brands are lousy.

I've never had the shopping cart problem with the Giant Eagle or Kroger in Hilliard. Have at other places though. Part of that is that the Hilliard stores seem to have the cart corrals strategically located. Maybe too that Hilliard folks don't like dings and scratches on their cars LOL.

Cub Foods was in the CMH market in the late 80's -early 90's but didn't last. One thing nice about Meijer, Kroger and GEagle is that they do give back to the community. THis Aldi rage is perplexing since that they are just a store of somewhat fancier store brand merchandise. The prices of their national brands rarely beat the rest. Plus Aldi is not an American co.
This is true. I believe they're an offshoot of a German chain. As for "fancier" brand merchandise, I don't think that. Most of it is junk.

Yeah, Aldis is a dump. Very few things there that my daughter likes that I have not found anywhere else to her liking, I maybe go there twice a year.

Not sure why people have issues with putting the carts away. I have seen people parked right next to the corral and still leave the cart next to their car. Just pure laziness i think. But according to news reports, since I am in Grove City I now have bigger issues to worry about such as having my purse stolen by a person in a moving vehicle.(At GC Walmart a lady was drug 10-15 feet from because someone drove up and stole her purse which was hooked on her arm)

While shopping in the hometown of my finacee Defiance, OH(Im from Michigan)a Krogers employee took it upon herself to nose into my self check out to see my methods of payment and tell her friend who does not work there what I was using to pay form my purchase. And also was reported she took pictures of me doing so. The friend of the employee is my fiancee ex wife. She stated in court that she had pictures and know my methods of payment. To me this is viloations of my privacy. I do not know either the ex wife or the employee.I took my concerns to corporate and still no resolutions. I find the whole situation unmoral. The employee has nothing to do than to get paid to spy on people for her friends. And these people are not teenagers where you would expect childish behavoir but in their 30's. The employee denies doing such thing but how else would the friend know my methods of payment unless the employee told her. Since Kroger is Union I was told nothing could be done. The store manager and employee has gotten away with lieing and hiding the facts! I will not shop at Krogers again !!!

Dave Dillion doesn't care about anything but lineing his pockets with more hard working Kroger employee cash. He walked through our store once in his Fancy suite and tie and didn't "Engage" with 1 employee! For a boss to be that high and mighty wanting you to be an engager what a rude and disgusting gesture from someone allowing these programs to exist. Practice what you Preach. That's like our Manager. He's complimented me 1 time in the 2 yrs I've worked here. He says he listens, but doesn't. When Corporate comes in he makes it sound as if we are the issue, we don't do our jobs and we don't listen to him. When in aspect if your wrong admit your wrong you lieing piece of crap! Our manager lies to corporate during Key Retailing then doesn't have us present for the audit makes up some lie to cover his ass, and we got the heat.......give me a Fing break! They just need to fire him and bring in someone who really works with us instead of against us and then lies that BS!

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Aries

Take care today Aries, because the emotional landscape in your neighborhood will be full of pitfalls during the coming fortnight, as it has been since the Solar Eclipse on May 20. The more convinced you are that you're right, the harder it will be to navigate your way around forthcoming events. If you feel resentful of someone, perhaps a neighbor or sibling, you need to get your feelings out in the open, rather than burying them deeper, where they'll fester and lead to more problems in the long run.
