Fred Meyers has been around as long as I have. I am thankful as an Oregonian to have such a store in our State. As with any company there will be problems in working with people in general. On Thursday October 30th my Fiance attended his scheduled Fiance visa appointment with the Consulate in Casablanca Morocco.

Prior to that appointment he was asked to bring in documents verifying proof of our relationship, which he provided. During the interview the interviewer asked him a series of questions about himself but mainly focused on me. She asked my age, how many children I had, why did I divorce, How many years I was married, where was my ex husband from, how old are my children, what are their names, what is my religion, then after viewing a few of our pictures she asked why I had worn a traditional Morocan dress to our engagement? She also seemed to focus on the fact that we met on a dating site. Don't many people all over the world meet on dating sites? She focused on my Fiance being attracted to English speaking women and he was engaged to an American before but that relationship did not work out so the petition was cancelled based on relationship differences.

Then after those questions she said she wasnt convienced our relationship is a legitimet and told him she needed to investigate further and it could take weeks or months before she got back to him.

I feel discriminated against!

I am not in agreement with her conclusion nor with the way my Fiance was treated. I do not feel my past should have anything to do with her judgment, nor who was married to. It is my right to marry whom I wish.
She could not give him a dead line.
