I lived 2 blocks away and shopped there weekly for three years. I know of which I speak... sheboon temper tantrums, flying packages of ribs, etc. Sadly, "gentrification" won't do a damned thing about Weinland Park primates.
Nor, apparently alter your perception of certain folks.

BTW--I have probably shopped there as much as you have.

They actually took down those posts in front of the doors?
YOu know, it's interesting, both Aldi and Sav-a-Lot have solve the disappearing cart problem quite simply. It seems as though no one is willing to sacrifice a quarter and will return their cart to the line-up.

Kroger, on the other hand, has gone through a number of equally expensive and far less effective contraptions. The had the barriers to prevent the carts going to the parking lot. For a while they had wheel locks that would engage when the cart reached a certain distance from the door. And then there are those posts that apparently are installed to prevent them exiting the building. All ugly, inconvenient, ineffective. Get a clue.

Did you ever throw a pack of ribs across the store? Be honest.

Nope. And what's more, never saw anyone else do so, either.

Oh look, another smug liberal. Try not to get robbed by your beloved African brothers in the parking lot.

A more respectable store would have a parcel pick-up...or at least have a bagger carry your groceries to your car.

But, how many shoppers at that store ride COTA?

I cannot recall the last time I saw a grocery store with a parcel pick up. BTW--did you know they have scanners now to read the prices?

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Pisces

Relationships are kind of shaky under this Lunar Cycle and you may even get the distinct impression you're heading for a major showdown with a certain someone. Although this feels like a crisis, don't let panic or desperation push you into decisions you would normally steer clear of. You may think you've reached the end of the road, but this isn't a good reason to go off the deep end and make drastic decisions. Proceed with caution!
