This too shall pass... by the way, you can get hotdogs w/o nitrates from Trader Joes, Whole Foods etc; this lawsuit may just push the larger companies to remove the nitrates-not a bad thing for anyone. |

The fact that eating processed meats--presumably including fast-food burgers and deli sandwiches--once a day leads to such a dramatic increase in risk is worrisome. It's obviously very common. I have to question the data on this one... maybe if only for conscience sake.

This is nuts, people suing over putting warning labels, people fighting over whales being killed...come on look at the crime rates, we have much more to worry about and try to cure.

There is a lettuce recall because of salmonella in lettuce from Tanimura & Antle Inc. I think the ones who want a warning label on hot dogs should be made to write warning labels on the lettuce with salmonella. They can then eat that affected lettuce. It would do them good and would make hot dog eaters feel better.

1 It's a shame that, when they lose, they can't be made to pay both court costs and the legal defense costs of the people they're suing. It's just time that legal-system bullies like this were made to pay the costs they seek to impose on others, instead of having defense costs endlessly passed on to the rest of us. |

A vegan should have no problem with hot dogs as their is no meat in them, unles a rat runs into the grinder, just sawdust, oatmeal, corn flakes, and soy beans. What hapens when you boil meat, it shrinks. What hapens when you boil sawdust, oatmeal, corn flakes, and soy beans, they swell up.
