Fed auctions $75b to ease credit stresses

Working to relieve stressed credit markets, the Federal Reserve has auctioned another $75 billion in loans to squeezed banks, bringing the total to $510 billion since December.

what about us? this rebate didn;t work all went to high gas costs& food. raise the poverty level so we're not too "rich" to qualify for med-cal & food stamps.
