Chase drops debit fee, Bank of America may be backing down

It has nothing to do with the occupiers. It's all about competition. BA makes an announcement to recoup some profit that the feds took away and other banks went to school on the publicity in attempts to grab some customers.
If anyone believes that the other Banks are not going to recover costs in other areas are very naive. Costs of banking are going to increase whether the public sees it or not.
