J.C. Penney CEO Ron Johnson gets $53.3M in total compensaton

What a joke while the employees are losing their hours and benefits... Nothing against CEO Ron Johnson because after all he's a businessman and he knows what he's doing.... Good luck to all the regular employees who have dealt with all the changes and didn't get anything good out of it.

This guy will leave richer than befor just like he did at apple and target then he will steal there ideas and sell them to some other comapny as his own.

It is very unfortunate that so many people lost their jobs. Most of management was let go and a few others. Out with the old and in with the new. And a slap for those that were let go, they're looking for their replacements.

Well check out the loot Ron's crony Target buddy, Francis got, he canned him in 9 months, Ronnie the JCP clown has such an ego he took over his duties, amazing for a guy who flys in from Ca to Texas on a private jet for 2-3 days work.

And yet the new multi tasking JCP checkout clerk gets less than 39.99 hours a week, and their commission was taken away. Amazing, he has revolutionized and created the Chinese workshop equivalent in retail. Guess that is why he likes to call store aisle, The Street, peddlers selling goods they themselves can not afford.

JCP doesn't deserve anyone's money. Penny's as we know it is gone.

the average employee gets 21 hours a week if they are good workers. most people get around 15 hours. this guy has made JCP a joke to most people who shop there. minimum wages, no benefits. people who worked there for 20 yrs have been laid off. it's is just so sad. i have no respect for this guy.

Well Ron MUST GO for any attempted recovery. But sad as it is I think penneys cant recover, he has done far too much damage, and fired most of its once loyal customers.
