I am sorry to hear about the loss of jobs in Franklin. We are facing the same thing here in jonesboro for the same reason. Good luck to everyone there. Quad is destined for the same fate as Quebecor. The similarities are too numreous to go into. Once again, good luck to you and all those in Franklin affected by the Blue Scourge.

quads quality just won't ever match what Quebecor World was. that's why they couldn't get the books any other way but to steal them from us.

Sorry to see the closing of your plants. I never wanted to wish bad on Quad, but after reviewing their ignorance and uncaring attitude towards all of the people who are losing their jobs, Quad can kiss my butt. All of the closings were plants that Quad could not out bid for the work when we were Quebecor / World Color. They closed down our plant in Buffalo, claiming it was old with old equipment. Then they moved the supposedly old equipment to the new, old plant in West Virginia, and can't run it. Farmed some of the work out to our competitors OPM and Donnelly. Now they are in trouble with customers for the bad quality. They got what they wanted though, they were able to shut down a union shop. Good luck to all who are loosing jobs, you all deserved so much better.

You notice the more Plants Worldcolor loses the less amount of people on these postings...remember when this site was rocking every minute of the day with all kinds of new stuff...now almost nothing daily...soon, one day no one will be posting on here...I always got a rush out of reading so much sh*t on here....So ya know...good luck
