IHOP buying Applebee's

“We have successfully restructured our own company, and in the process, re-energized our brand, improved our operational performance and maximized the development of franchise restaurants.”

GLENDALE, Calif. -- IHOP Corp., best known for its chain of blue-roofed pancake restaurants, said today it has agreed to buy the bar-and-grill chain Applebee's International Inc. via GreenvilleOnline.com

Very true. I remember when IHOP made good food. Now it`s all second rate, over priced crap. The last time I ate there, it cost me $65 for three of us to eat breakfast. And we ordered nothing fancy, or any extras.

Used to go to IHOP back when it was called by its full name. Remember the huge red roof? Now THAT was a breakfast! Applebees...fuggitaboutit.

when i started working for applebee in lapeer mich 7yrs ago it was a great place to work at lot of fun i made good money base our state economy
