I guess Wall Street must have run out of ROSY reports! You can put deodorizer on garbage, but in the end, the SMELL WILL COME OUT!!May be Wall Street is coming out of DENIAL?!!They were JUMPING for JOY on Thursday with a 200 Pt Rally! This on the GOOD NEWS THAT WALMART'S PROFITS were BIGGER THAN EXPECTED! Guess that will make up for the Foreclosure situation, High Gas Prices, High FOOD PRICES, Low consumer confidence,The War in Iraq,Layoffs Etc. This Wall Street INGNORES, But gets EXCITED THAT A FEW COMPANIES POSTED LOWER LOSSES THAN EXPECTED!! I only lost 5 Billion this quarter, INSTEAD OF THE 10 BILLION in anticipated losses! This is actually TRUE, and refers to CITIBANKS FIRST QUARTER THIS YEAR! Time to give the CEO A RAISE! Good JOB!! But even Wall STREET can only be in DENIAL ABOUT ALL THIS GOOD NEWS for so long. Then the GARBAGE STARTS TO SMELL!! LOL!!

A $10 jump, you have to be kidding me. Some people just made a tihsload of $$$$

All the cops and firemen with take home cars just got a large raise this year. The taxpayers pay an additional $1,500 per car for gas, that is like a $2,500 raise before taxes.
The firemen leave their gas guzzler truck idling while the shop at publix for hours on end. |

Dude it’s enough already with the Firemen, how many months have you been posting this garbage. We get it! You’re very jealous of fireman, what are you a paramedic, or a lifeguard, or some other city employee even lower on the totem pole? Did a Fireman sleep with your wife, or something? Find something else to fill your time me, it really comes off pathetic…

NO my friend Speculaters... Bush's Enron energy policy caused the price of oil to go up $10 a barrel yesterday! Demand has something to do with it but damand hasnt doubled in the last 6 months. |

If you read nothing else go to this link and read about the 400% markup of oil and how the Arab countries are buying up assets like major banks in the USA. I am telling you that wars are won with money not bullets anymore and they are winning big as they buy everything of value here.

The USA needs to begin offering one barrel of rice for one barrel of oil; it's pretty hard to grow food in the desert.

Someday, somehow, someway the American people must break the hold that big oil has on the U.S. If this country had actively pursued ethanol production (as was pursued in Brazil) in the early 70's we wouldn't be in this mess. We didn't go with ethanol years ago because a gallon of ethanol would have cost nearly two dollars! That sounds pretty good today since we are now headed for five or more dollars per gallon for gas. We are being hit on the head with a huge hammer and a lot of people just sit around and complain about big oil. A likely answer is to expand alternative fuels and invest in companies such as Archer Daniels Midland (ticker ADM). Otherwise, get ready to keep paying a king's ransom for oil that was less than six dollars a barrel in the 1960's and yesterday is approaching $140.00. Stop the madness and go with a new solution, alternative fuels of every type; or we are totally up the creek without a paddle.

Everyone is losing everything, but the cops and firemen who can not lose their jobs are getting raises paid for by people who are losing everything. Nice guys these public employees kicking the taxpayer when they are down. |
|
|
Eveyones 401k's dropped big time. The Florida retirment system lost millions, but the taxpayers will make up all the difference for the cops and the firemen to retire at age 45.
End all pensions and save billions of taxpayers dollars. If there is a huge lose, the taxpayer are the loser, if there is a gain the taxpayers lose again. Benefits just go up and taxpayer just pay more money. |

What are greedy oil countries doing these days? It's time to invade Opec and take all thier oil.

AT&T tells it's technicians they can't idle for more than 20 minutes with the ac on. They'd rather have us fry in those freekin vans and save a few bucks. We all have cookin timers in the trucks to make sure we don't go over 20 minutes or we'll be in deep crap.
You can't use your blue tooth or speaker on your cellphone while drivin. If you get a call you have to pullover put your cones out and cut the engine and the AC and then you can talk on the phone. |

So, you're upset because your company wants to try and save money on gas? You have a thousand vhicles driving around all day. That adds up I'm sure.
