You need to check your facts, because african americans and hispanics are the majority out there killing people and at least it is for a reason it may not be the best reason or the way to handle it but, they are not going to let someone walk all over them , you all YES YOU WHITE PEOPLE are raping your own children and pedifiling, and just doing stupid s***, you think you are so much better than everyone else...its people like you I WISH I could meet face to face, talking bout it realism not racisim whatever!

I lived on the edge of Williamsburg, really close to NN and I got out as fast as I could...even the mid sized city i live in now, it much much safer! That whole area is going downhill and fast and watch out it will affect all of Williamsburg soon here, just wait and see!

I think people are over reacting haha. I've lived in Newport News my whole life except for a couple years in Chespeake (the area I lived in there was much more ghetto) and now I'm in Elizabeth City, NC for school. Not ALL of Newport News is ghetto. The people that freak out about Newport News just doesn't know what ghetto really is...yeah downtown is a bit rough, but other than that it's not that bad. There is a good bit of racism in all of Hampton Roads. Black girls are always wanting to fight me and I don't even have to say anything to them, it's just because I'm a blonde white girl. I love black and Hispanic people but people need to realize that there is just as much racism towards white people in the Hampton Roads area that there is against black people. The area I lived in in Chesapeake for example, in my neighborhood was some apts that I couldn't go to simply because I'm white...people who yell racist things at me and threaten me because of my skin color. I'm tired of the news only showing the racism against blacks and hispanics. I HATE racism against any race. I had a cousin shot at by a gang of black guys and it was only because he's white, I had a friend pulled from his truck at a stoplight in NN by my house and beat just because he was white in a jacked up truck. I could go on and tell more stories, but you get the point. I think Hampton is worse than NN...we've had our house broken into a couple times and stuff like that so yeah, I would never say NN is the safest area, but really I wouldn't call it the worst either...there are much worse places out there. I love the house and neighborhood that my family lives in now. It's a neighborhood that is half black and half white, middle class area and we've had no trouble at all. You can find nice areas in NN so don't write it off saying it's all bad.
I hope and pray for some peace for the Hampton Roads area.

The devil is attacking our children because he know they are more vulnerable. We need to get our kids in church early in their lives and teach them about God's love. Teach them how to confront the demons that tries to overcome their minds. Teach them how to put the devil under their feet and rebuke him in the name of Jesus.
