Our gal Lingle will handle it. Not to worry. Those blubber-bellied hawaiians with their phony views of entitlement won't slow our agenda up.

What a bunch of crazies---they do not represent me---and I am Hawaiian---in ethnicity.

But make no mistake I AM AN AMERICAN!!

They do not have the right to keep anyone off the grounds---are they going to keep it clean, repair what needs repairing, keep the grounds immaculate...keep the artifacts safe...I THINK NOT!!

GET OFF THE PALACE GROUNDS YOU POSERS!!!YOU DO NOT REPRESENT ME OR MANY OTHER HAWAIIANS___GIVE ME A BREAK__IF YOU THINK YOU DO YOU ARE SADLY MISTAKEN!!

If they want their land back, they need to do it like the Japanese. Buy the island back one property at a time. When I say they, I mean the locals posing as Hawaiians. There are hardly any full blooded Hawaiians left.

What a bunch of lolos. Even Willie Sutton the bank robber had more smarts than these dumb Hawaiians. When the FBI asked him why he robbed banks, he said, "because that's where the money's at."

These Hawaiians should be camped outside OHA begging Haunani Apolonia for $$$ or Kamehameha Schools. Dat's where da money is!!!!

When the United States drafted the Bill of Rights, they should have drafted a Bill of Responsibilities to go along with it. When you wrong someone a responsible person would not only apologize, he would also make amends. Bill Clinton made the apology, but it means nothing unless it is acted on.
Any state, Hawaii, Texas, etc. should have the option to opt out of the Federal United States and return to their prior status as a free and independent State/Nation, should they feel the need. Unite and push for legislation to do just that. The tenth amendment gives you the right of self determination. The will of the people will win out. You can be a Citizen of a state without being a citizen of the United States. What if the majority people of Hawaii voted to no longer be Federal U.S. citizens. Once established, the effect would be the same, wouldn't it? Start the petitions and move forward.

No peaches. Nothing is owed Hawaiians that is not owed all citizens. The Palace is supported by all tax payers and by private donors. Most of these tax payers and donors are NOT Hawaiian. 'Nuff said as they say.

The palace is the last vestige of hawaiian sovereignty. It should be returned to the hawaiians and tax payers should be relieved of the burden to maintain it. Private donors should be allowed, of course, to contribute if the hawaiians wish to accept.

hmmm, come to think of it, that's true. i volunteered there for a few years whenever i came to hawaii, back in the 80s. there used to be alot of good comradery among the volunteers, but that changed toward the early 90s, don't know why. i just remember they installed some cumputer....
by the way, almost all the volunteers were haoles. there was one lady who lived in sweden and came for 6 months a year to serve as a palace docent.

How many true blooded Hawaiians are left? I don't mean hapas and haoles that think they're Hawaiian. True Hawaiians need to keep marrying within their own people and start buying the land back that they had stolen, gave away, etc. That is the only path to true happiness. When they finally swell in numbers, they can push the Americans, Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese out and keep it for themselves.
