Bergmann to consult Harley

The former chief financial officer of Harley-Davidson, Tom Bergmann, has agreed to make himself available for consultation for 18 weeks in exchange for a base salary of about $185,192 and health, dental and vision benefits from May 31 to Oct.

10,000.00 a week? Make himself available? Ummmm, what exactly did he do that was so great BEFORE he resigned?

I'm not a Harley employee nor a union worker but I wonder where all the union bashers are now? None of them apparently has the balls to say anything about management excess.

Mr. Bergmann is certainly impressed with his own importance. Hopefully no one takes him up on his "generous offer." Aren't some of these ridiculously inflated salaries and fees what got us into this recession in the first place?!?

Looks like the new CFO can't figure out where all the money was buried?
This stinks!
Oh, and they still want to blame someone working the assembly line for $23/hr.
