We are having trouble with our sub assembly that has been outsource. The Davidson Brothers are rolling around in their graves. So sad. Also, Victory Bikes are also going to built in INDIA. WTF Harley and Victory are building bikes to be SOLD in India ONLY. That way the don't have to pay the huge tariffs like they would if they would ship fully assembled bikes into India. It is the same way the Japanese companies got around paying the tariffs on their bikes during the Reagan administration.

The sad thing is that lot of laid of HD workers ran over to Syncreon to work for less then $16.75 hr. The fools are working for the same company who took away their union jobs. What the hell is wrong with you people? Is it that Harley is that much a part of your identity that you cant stay away? Why in the hell would you go across town and get a job there? I know a laid off HD guy who got a job as a Liason for Syncreon and walks around the HD plant all proud and cocky like he's something. Your a joke dick weed!!! And you think that your old HD friends really respect you like an equal? Get a grip, your working for the same company who took your job and will be taking away theirs too!! You people need to get a grip already.

Many of those people are doing the same job for Syncreon that they did for Harley just months ago for 10$ an hour less. I don't mean to put down Syncreon, the company is just fulfilling a need in the county however, the Harley people that ran there for a job should be ashamed of themselves. Im glad another company opened up in the county, we need more jobs, but have some pride people. How can you go to the company who took your work from you? I understand that the Union is to blame for the shitty contract but come on!

FlexWorkers-Yes wrote: <quoted text>\ "Wait till your place of employment hires Mr clean up guy (Wandell) To clean house on the employees..." Just goes to show you how uneducated you are. I have skills/qualifications and education that I have earned and are mine regardless of my current job. Therefore if Mr. Clean comes and cleans house at my current job, no problem I will take my education and skill set and find another employer making a similar amount of money. You and many of your former union co-workers at Harley had no such education / skill set. The only skill set you had was more than likely from "on the job training". And because you could not see this and see that at the time you were earning way more than other manufacturing jobs in York, PA you still chose to go on strike 4+ years ago. And in the end, since IN REALITY your skill set does not demand the kind of $$ you were making at Harley you and your former co-workers lost. I suppose all boiled down, if you and your former union co-workers were truly worth $22 -$30+ an hour, when you lost your job at Harley you should have been able to go to any manufacturing company in York and make that kind of hourly rate. Since you could not, clearly you were overpaid. Again, blue collar greed is just as bad as white collar greed. So, you work as a male prostitute?

All for the LOVE of Money. Making sure they fill their pockets with plenty. Yes its tough out there. The employees that got laid off at Harley, they needed jobs. The casuals that we got needed jobs because their jobs were out. It sucks!!! Does this make sense- Harley Lay off took place on 2-25-11 On Sunday 2-27-11 They had an ad for casuals in the paper. Job fair happening on March 5,2011. WTF

"All for the LOVE of Money", again why don't you address the fact that 4+ years ago when these Harley union workers were making $22 -$30 per hour with incredible benefits way above the going rate in ALL other York County manufacturing plants, they still chose to go on stirke because it still was not enough. To me that sounds like, "All for the LOVE of money". As I have previously stated, I am no supporter of corporate (white collar) greed but I am also no supporter of blue collar greed. Having again said that, going on strike under the circumstances descirbe above shows DISLOYALTY to the company and frankly they (the union) deserved what they got. So take off the rose colored glasses and stop towing the union line, blue collar greed is just as bad as white collar greed.

in response to flex workers -yes ' response to retired harley......i was there when you speak of the strike.........inmy 23 years there, that was the second one...........not bad for all that time, and regardless of what the CEO tells the media, no strike ever lasted more than 2 weeks unless forced by Fred Gates
