So they just walk by when they see fertilizer on the floor? How hard is it to get a broom and pan by the garden register to sweep it up? Oh right, you would need a manager to order you to do that.

Must be the management! Or is it associates failing to do their duties? So what happens if a manager chews someone out for it? Oh right, that makes them a pain in the ass and highly disliked manager. So... we blame the employees.. nice. If you were able to use some critical thinking and apply logic (which clearly you can not)you would know that employees are unable to complete tasks like they did in the past because the company has gutted payroll in the stores. Yes, due to the economy, sales over the last few years are down in most stores so you would expect a reduction in hours. However, over the last 5 to 10 years the company has slashed payroll in the stores at a much higher rate than sales have dropped. This is a FACT. Do some research.. I know of stores that have only dropped a few million a year in sales and yet the hours have dropped from 8000 a week to 5000 a week! Other than the total lack of quality leadership top to bottom, the root cause of many of the problems in the stores is a LACK OF COVERAGE ON THE FLOOR--- YOU IDIOT!
