In our store they gave that to receiving and or rtv clerk took a post. in book keeping.. and no extra hours for receiving sorry..corporate wins again...

The National Labor Relations Board issued new regulations on Thursday that require companies to put posters on their bulletin boards that inform employees about their rights to unionize under federal law. Under the new regulations, businesses would have to display notices that explain the right to bargain collectively, to give out union literature and to work together to improve wages and conditions free of retaliation.

Actually after hearing more about it,it may be all 40 hours that went to the RTV clerk that we are losing.Everyone in receiving had to take the online classes to learn the new system. It seems very similar to the transfer system.

I am upset that I am losing my position and am limited to where I can go in the store. My pay is "too high" for some positions. When Bernie and Arthur started this company, we were told we would get increases based on performance, now I am being penalized for doing a good job.

Trying to be a team player in all this while exiting out of my position as best as I can with all the distractions of tearing down my cage and everybody chomping at the bits for the real estate (My cage area)...As for my inventory....Just trying to do the best I can...I still have 2 weeks to go before we go live and everybody has full access to the inventory...I'll be headed out to my new position and will try to be helpful despite the "good riddance" of it all. It's all out of my control.....Good luck everybody...If anything...I hope you know that other RTV clerks understand..For what it's worth...

Everyone that works at HD that has been there over 10 years, and especially the ones that are over 15 years better watch their P's & Q's. And if your in Operations, you better have a back up plan! And I would highly reccomend documenting EVERYTHING! The way the rtv clerks were treated was not one of Home Depots values of taking care of their people. This whole transition could have been handled with more professionalism and dignity for the ones that had tiresly given their all, and did more than one job, got harrassed, never got their two fifteen minute breaks a day, got dumped on by everyone, and the list goes on. It was our job to bring money back to the store. Many uf us brought back millions to the store, but all they cared about was the md's, that paled in comparison to the amount of store damages. All rtv clerks need to take notes and file them for the class action lawsuit that will eventually be coming. When you have a regional human resource person say that we are not allowed to go to a merchandise dept, but corporate says we can, and then the regional HR say in the same breath they know they are going to get sued, whats that tell ya? All of operations will be going to PT and filled by 8.00hr people. Including receiving.
