maybe if you learned how to correctly spell and use proper grammer you would have had a better oppurtunity to succeed. Some people, yourself apparently included, are too unintelligent to shine even in the world of retail. Go back to school, please!
In your haste to admonish another you misspelt grammar. Your desire to put down another only makes you look smaller and more insignificant yourself.

I too have a problem and dealt with a complete cocksucker today at the Laurel,Md. Homo Depot!!! HIS NAME IS JOEL BUTLER and he was a complete piece of trash...Kerosene space heater quit working after two weeks of ownership and $299.99 it still looks Brand New and practically is!!! I wanted to exchange it for a new one that actually works and he denied the return...I am calling corporate tomorrow and will never in my life shop at this ghastly place again...LOWES is my future!!! I wish HD all the worst luck possible in the future and if their is anything I can do to sway peoples decisions towards Lowes who care about their consumers I'm all for it!!!
Wow Mister. I am not working for HD but I would prepare my co-workers for people like yourselves too. It is one thing to bring something back. But by the looks of your comment here, I would not want to deal with you eighter. See if you are rude and abusive, perhaps even frightening, then you must not be stunned when things are not going your way. Controll your temper, be reasonable and I am sure, things will change to the better much more often for you. See, when someone states, that the Customer is King, its coming from the way European (I am one) folks and their Kings where dealing with each other. The King was surely the King and as such very important. That today is the Client-also you. However if the King abuses his trusted relationship with his folks, and gives back pain, mistrust and the like, the King will not find liking at all. The obligation and with that success for all parties involved is simple...MANNERS. Behave, don't get emotional and abusive and things will happen to the better. We're all Humans and everyone likes to grow and have success and pride in what they do, generally speaking. But your comments, would leave me as an employee really happy that you choose to go somewhere else because you overpower in a negative way all and everything, if things don't go your way. See your bashing comments. Heck I would pay for you to go somewhere else BUT I would have made very sure, that you would have gotten your new Product not exchanged (because I would not want to see you in my Store again) but fully refunded!

I received a bill that states I owe $164.00 that includes overdue fees. I found that strange because I never received a previous bill. I called customer service and told them Home Depot never send me any previous bill. He checked my records and found that there has been a return mail due to address error. He also saw that somebody corrected the zip code on my address. I told customer service I should not have to be responsible for Home Depot mistake I have a excellent credit report with Home Depot. He said he will see if he could remove the penalty fees which he was able to do. I asked him was this reported to the Credit Union, he checked and said yes. I request for it to be removed he said he could not do that. I requested to speak to a supervisor. He put me on standby for a few minutes and came back and said the supervisor examined my records and seen my record is excellent and they will send a request to the credit Bureau Dispute Department.
a week later,I find out that I was denied for the removal of the derogatory information on my credit score. Now my credit score is damaged My credit score was very good. I could see if I did received that bill and didn’t paid the bill that I would have to suffer the consequence but what happen is not my responsibility, why should I suffer for something I did not do. I kept an EXCELLENT RECORD with home depot why should I suffer for Home Depot mistake. I want to refinance my home but now I can’t thanks to Home Depot.

<quoted text>Shannon, in previous forums you have Identified yourself as a department supervisor....now a store manager? there is a big difference in the 2.
FRED wrote:
<quoted text>Shannon, you are the only one who calls yourself a manager, all you are is a department head (DH) who has given yourself the title of supervisor. Like I tell all the DH's who and try to pull that BS with me, your the fool that took the key's for no extra money and you think Iam impressed with that, you may scare some 90 day person but not someone who has been with the company...
I get a real kick out of how people think that there's a big difference in a dept. manager, dept. head & dept. supervisor.
There's really not much of a difference at all IMO. I mean, which ever title you go by you're still in charge of specific department and supervising the associates that work with you in that department.
Also... I laugh my ass off at all of the bitching over someone spelling something wrong! Like we haven't all done that before - OMG! As long as what someone is trying to say is understandable, who cares? What's the point of bashing someone over it - grow up!
I realize that these posts were made a few years ago, but oh well. It gave me a serious chuckle!!

Home Depot places customers first.

I am sorry you've had such a bad experience. On your receipt is the Voice of the Customer Survey, filling it out online will give you the chance to win $5,000 as well as a chance to give Home Depot feedback on the incident and how you feel Home Depot worked for you.

Not at all, not at all.

The survey on the reciept is there for a reason. Corporate cares about the numbers generated by it. Eventually it works its way to region, then district, then store. And keeps going down.

Customers pay our paychecks. If they are unsatisfied or unhappy with the service they were given from the products condition, to the sales associates, to the cashiers, to the stores appearance, etc. That's a Customer Home Depot Employees want to come back, for a chance to repair damages done.

Perhaps even going to a different Home Depot store would be the better option.

Regardless, we will always be the cheaper priced if we carry the same product.(We will always meet and beat competitors prices by 10%)

AS someone looking to make a career of the Home Depot, bad customer service is not acceptable. Customer Satisfaction is a big deal for THD.

I apologize for the bad experience, but please do not base all Home Depot stores, associates or managers of the store.

The survey on the receipt is very important to fill out anytime you shop with us, so we know how we are doing.
