This person probably gets screamed at all day long at the construction site by their manager while covered in dirt. So now they take it on retail employees just because they're pitiful like that.

Jeff wrote: I'm actually still waiting for Home Depot to install an exterior door I ordered. I paid $30 for someone to come out to take measurements. That took a week to set up, and then the "R&D" installation scheduler told me over the phone that they were going to do a lead paint test in my home, and if there was lead paint, they wouldn't install my door. WTF?? I paid $30 for you to tell me that!!!?!?!?! The lady didn't know what she was talking about. So a week later, some guy comes out to spend 30 seconds measuring my door. Then several days later, I get a call to come to home depot to complete my order. So I do that. Then it takes over a week for the door to be delivered from feather river. So after playing phone tag with R&D, I schedule a guy to come out and install the door a week later. So a week goes by, I take a day off of work, a guy comes to my house with my door. He shows me that the door is scuffed. Basically it's damaged. It could be easily painted over, but I was a little ticked because there's no telling how it got that way. So then the guy unloads my door....and then says, "Oh, there's no threshold extender". I can't install the door. He leaves. I TOOK A DAY OFF OF WORK FOR NOTHING!!!! I was pissed, but there's nothing I could do. I told him to just leave the damn door and I would paint it while I wait for the stupid part to be delivered. So a week and a half goes by.....no call from Home Depot. I call to ask if the door extender was in yet. The lady said, "Yea, it's due tomorrow. We'll have someone call you to schedule installation when it gets in". A couple days later.....still haven't heard anything. Isn't it common sense that if something like this happens, a company would overnight deliver the part so the installation can resume right away!?!?!? It's call customer satisfaction!!! It's been a month and a half now, and I've got an exterior door sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. Hasn't been done yet. I tried talking to the lady (expediter) at Home Depot to get some advice or maybe to get them to forecast the delivery and just schedule the installation ahead of time. She just sat there silent on the phone and could careless what I was telling her. She just said, "Yea, uh huh, yup, yea, uh huh. Ok bye" I've come to the conclusion, that going the cheap route through Home Depot will result in a cheap experience. The people that work there don't get paid $ anything, so they can give a rats ass about your troubles. All said and done, they will send some hill billy out to install your project, and you are at the mercy of what type of job they do. And if they don't do the job right or they damage something..........good luck, because Depot can careless and all they will do is say "Yes, ok, uh huh, yes ok, uh huh" over the phone, and then hang up. It's just common sense. If I worked at Home Depot, I would keep tabs on each customers project and follow up. If something goes wrong, or a part is missing, I would have the part delivered overnight. I would do everything I could to ensure the customer gets what they wanted and are happy. Customer service is getting worse and worse these days. I guess everyone these days wants $100K to do their job, or else they just don't care. My advice is to avoid Home Depot for anything if you have other options. dumbass - serves you right for ordering anything from HD they got your money that's all they care about

Wow, you're a terrible person.. You probably think it's ok to bribe people and ok for politicians to accept money for votes.

Home Depot is totaly ignoring the do it your self customers and pushing service to do it for them to make more money. Ace Hardware, Menards, & Lowes will dominate---Want more? . If you need help get a union in the home depot and stop all the abuse!

Joco53 wrote: <quoted text>You been watching frank on videos too much your mind is all messed believing home depot is a great place work Working part-time at Home Depot during college, I'd say it's one of the best places to work for what it is. I made more money hourly than the majority of part-timers from any of the other big retailers. If you're working at Home Depot full-time, regard it as your main source of income, and enjoy it; that's wonderful. But for those that complain about working there, I think you should first reevaluate certain decisions you made that got yourself working there. Working in retail is right there at the bottom of the pyramid so take it for what it is. You're not working at Google.

ok have read the comments and have to say i can tell who works for HD I have been with them for 3 yrs now and am outraged at some of the things i have witnessed. Good workers fired because someone didnt like them, others allowed to be bullies to new coworkers who get out fast, Dh's looking the other way instead of dealing with issues, bad reviews because your dh doesn't like you, new hires getting paid more then you and they know very little, promotions because they like your, homer awards handed out to same people over and over again, favoritism in the scheduling dept, yes computer spits it out but it does get tweaked for a few certain ones.I could go on and on but if you are an assoc.well you already know where I coming from. yes i am activily lookin4more work.

Home Depot needs to realize that management are very unethical in the work place, the Awareline is joke, and they dont take care of there associates. A 10 cent raise is not taking care of the associate.(thats with O and V's). When they start taking care of us and the customers then thats going make Home Depot the Number 1 hardware store in the world. Look at Google in terms of how they treat there associate. Come on Depot read between the line. We love the company but your management sucks.
