Nope, same as now, money. isn't it funny how almost every major shift in, especially, our society has money (either controlling costs, making more of or opening/closing sources of getting it) as the root cause? equally funny is how many 'idealists' never figure that out. take HC reform... most think it is to expand care to those without. far too many do not equate the 'service' of HC with cost, or money, and control (which money IS all about! the original Golden Rule - He With the Gold Makes the Rules.) driver and veh passenger safety, seat belts... the advantage of having and using them has been commonly known since the early 1950s. yet they were not mandated to be included in cars until 1968... and then remained optional until the cost of air bags became a factor. we lost a liberty (to buckle or not to buckle) but we got airbags! the same with NON-enforcement of immigration laws, etc, etc, etc... good point! less IS better

Ron Paul knows he's not going to win and has admitted it himself. He is only trying to lead a movement that will bring the republican party more toward libertarian values. He will eventually support Romney, and his cult-like following will join suit and do whatever he says.

The same cult like following could be used with supporters of Romney, Obama, Newt, Palin, you name it, they all support them. I support less government and Ron Paul is the ONLY one who not only supports it but has shown it.

All that you have to do to understand that Ron Paul is NOT cut from the same cloth as all of these other candidates (and our current president) are is to INVESTIGATE HIS RECORD. That's not very hard to do when we're talking about a 12-term US Congressman.
