Who cares? Does anyone understand it is excessive spending here and now that is undermining this country? Bush screwed up, so the left believes that the way out of trouble is to screw up worse? Give me a break. I don't care WHICH Party is overspending and lining their own and their families pockets with wealth at the expense of the American People. Their WILL be many new congressmen in 2010, because Dems, Reps, and Inds will vote their pocketbooks in a way this country has never seen. California voters showed the way, and the rest of the country, certifiably more conservative, will follow through. See you at the next round of TEA Parties!

I thought this was an original thought...

Just because I source the numbers does not make the post entirely cut and paste...

Maybe, once again you should read the posts..

Maybe you find useful information, useful .gov sites so that you can really see whois doing what and / or just to figure out I am wrong and show me why..

I don't post this just to piss you off, I post this and source the facts so that other people that do Not know where to look for real UN-spun hard facts can go to research for themselves.

Some people do Not have all the answers, some people do not know about these sites..

I hope that this better represents my goals to you in a way that is palatable.

That has absolutely nothing to do with what was said. Is there a point? If so simply state it. Anybody can throw random news articles around. Give your opinion, make a statement, and then all you have to do is post a link to back up your assertions.
That is what I've been driving at. I read the articles and all he is doing is preaching the choir. Of course we are on Bush's spending spree. This is his and the past Congress budget. The NEXT budget will be President Obama's. We'll see if the "cut and paste" drone will finally come to a formed thought of his own.

You complain about the pedigree of my post I answer with yet more facts... sourced mind you.. and the best you can offer up after I take the time and energy to help post good, factual information is whine?

Really?

Seriously?

No facts of your own.. just feelings..

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

So be it... you are welcome for the time and energy spent on your particular behalf… you mention no facts.. you like or dislike based on something other than your feelings… you have done nothing but hound me for posting sourced facts as a matter of fact.

I understand Bush is your fault.. I understand you would rather not suffer the viewing of facts that where as a direct result of your support of Bush..

Your guilt will not censor my posting of sourced, correct facts.

Complain away..

240,000 new 100% paid for thru debt spending homes for Minorities. Ala Bush..
American Dream Down Payment Fund
This program would provide money to qualified low-income families to assist in making the down payment on a home. "The single greatest hurdle to first time homeownership is a high down payment requirement that can put a home out of reach," said President Bush. White House analysts estimate that the American Dream Fund will assist some 40,000 low-income families annually in making down payments on homes.
Tax Credits to Create Affordable Housing
This proposed initiative would provide home-builders and developers with nearly $2.4 billion in tax credits for building affordable single-family housing in distressed areas. The tax credits would help make 200,000 new affordable homes available to low-income buyers over the next five years.
http://usgovinfo.about.com/library/weekly/aa0 ...
In June, President Bush announced the national goal of increasing the number of minority homeowners by at least 5.5 million by the end of this decade. Meeting the President's goal will not only help more Americans enjoy the benefits of owning their own homes it will also help strengthen America's economy. According to a study released today by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, meeting the President's goal will involve $256 billion in economic activity in the form of construction and remodeling jobs, spending on household goods, and other benefits.
2004
PRESIDENT BUSH HAS BEEN quick to take credit for the low interest rates and continued strong demand for housing that spurred the building boom. Just about every week this spring and summer, the current 68.5 percent homeownership rate pops up in campaign rhetoric, near the top of the president's campaign platform.

2008
WASHINGTON - U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Alphonso Jackson today unveiled the Bush Administration's Fiscal Year 2008 Budget request, which seeks to expand record homeownership, promote affordable housing and assist homeless individuals and families. President Bush is seeking $35.2 billion for HUD, which represents a $1.6 billion or 4.5 percent increase over his proposed spending plan for FY 2007.

****“Many monumental errors and misjudgments contributed to the acute financial turmoil in which we now find ourselves. Nevertheless, the vast accumulation of toxic mortgage debt that poisoned the global financial system was driven by the aggressive buying of subprime and Alt-A mortgages, and mortgage-backed securities, by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The poor choices of these two government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs)-- and their sponsors in Washington -- are largely to blame for our current mess”****
