I have already made some suggestiong, but the city council can't comprehend anything beyond attempting to pull the wool over the people's eyes, so since they are not capable of consindering the minor step I recommended, then I know better than to throw my pearls before swine. I have put a lot of beneficial information on line which tells me that you missed it. I do have quite a vision that can help this town that incorporates many positive solutions for generating both short and long term benefits. It is not the right time for me to share it all due to the lack of integrity on the part of the current city council, so the first step is that the people must replace them with people of integrity and intelligence who have the determination to turn this city around. For one, public safety does come first. A police force that is overloaded only assists the criminals, not the people. When public safety is adequately supplied with the man/woman power and the resources to rid the criminal elements in this town with the involvement of the community to help in areas such as the step by step program and others that help people improve which will require more community involvement (and yes I have a plan that can be implemented to help here, and I have already let Chief B and a Judge know about I do, but need to meet with them this summer to go over the details), then people from outside will be more willing to move here as people like crime free areas. I have many POSITIVE ideas beyond this, and any good person who sees all of it would have no choice but to agree because these ideas are all steps in the right direction. Anyhow, the long term big one would require me to have an attorney to ensure no one tries to dupe me, and then I need investors and city leader involvement. Then, together, we can pull it off. I already said that my big idea would not only bring in people from surrounding areas and other U.S. states, but it will also bring in people from all over the world. It incorporates many things, some old combined with something origional. I need to go right now. Short term, I have ideas for bringing in money fast while providing something positive for the people of this town to enjoy. I hope this helps your brain to start rejuvinating as brain cells do that when the mind is active in a positive way. I really do have massive work to do for school. I will be finished for this quarter by June 20th. As for el stupo city council-lost cause- positive!I have my reasons for saying that, but don't ask as I don't let all my secrets be known! I'm sure you don't either.

oops, suggestions (Positive is good-it's uplifting!) City council lacks morals and engages in unethical behavior as evident in their fight to compensate for their inadequacies resulting in their overcompensation which i knew they would do which is why I warned then before hand so they could reevaluate where they were heading. Their indiscriminate slash and burn inept tactics have resulted in dividing this city, not bringing it together in a positive fashion. They are a lost cause. Rid them from office ASAP!!!

Buick only took the catagory - MIDSIZE CAR - for the Buick LaCrosse while Toyota took 5 catagories. http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Savingan... |

Don't believe everything you read. I've had a Honda and a Toyota, and the Honda was the best car I have ever had. I have owned a Chevy, a Mercury, an Opal, a Hundai, a VW (second best), a Rambler, and a Volvo in my family, and more. I'd take the Honda any day over even the Lexus as I know someone who had one of them and it had problems.

Way to go! |

The dealership may not make a difference. Once Government Motors is in control who will want to buy the cars anyway. Unless of course the ownership being a monopoly there may not be another choice but the gubermint designed car. Those politicians designing cars??? Aren't they ranked below car salesmen and lawyers?

I am a retired auto technician/shop owner. ASE Master Certified. Here is my nickels worth (inflation, you know).
ALL cars break down. Here is a general vies. European make cars are usually good for 40 to 60 thousand reasonably trouble free miles. 10% less for English cars. 25% less for French or Italian cars. 25% more for VW. No matter what brand, parts are ridiculously expensive, as is the labor. American branded cars are usually good for 75 to 100 thousand miles before things start to go. This is after the 6 to 10 trips for warranty repairs the first year. There are exceptions of course. We all know about the unrepairable car that was scrapped after 20,000 miles. I did have a customer with a bare-bones Jeep Wrangler that had nothing but oil changes for years. The first brake replacement was done at 162,000 miles. Parts are usually not too expensive and labor is reasonable. Japanese branded cars will usually go 125,000 miles with no problems at all. Many can hit 200,000 miles with nothing but maintenance. the best I ever saw was an Infiniti with 340,000 miles and had needed nothing but maintenance. It did go downhill fast after that, though. Personally, I have a Cadillac (185k), a Toyota truck (158k) and a Ford diesel truck (193k). As always, you pay your money and take your pick. Don't try to save on maintenance, it costs way more in the long run if you don't take care of your car. |

Judged: 1 1 I think for lenders to go back to GM, they will need to trust someone. Most likkey it will not be the UAW or the Goverment. That means hold your pocket tax payer, we might have another Amtrak |
I know for a fact that if it were just the number of cars sold there is another Buick dealership within a hour's drive from Hatfield who has been selling fewer cars. However, they were not closed because of their GM connections. |
|
If the closures were based on number of sales alone, there is another Buick dealership within an hour away from Hatfield that sells fewer cars should have been closed. |

I have a Buick Century. At 65 MPH I get 32 MPG. Not too shabby for traveling in comfort in a nice car. |
