The politicians in Washington are killing the American Dream for the sake of cheap goods from China.
Someday Chinese companies will open sweatshops in America and our grandchildren will be grateful for anything they can earn working in them.
Your a moron Mac..... Study China during WW2, and you will begin to realize why China is actually one of our best friends.
Not ALL of China, but the majority of them really do LOVE the USA....
GM was the author of it's own demise.
Ford is not going under, and they have union workers.... It's the shareholders of the corporation that strangled it to death. NOT the workers...
PS.... Mac, what do you do for a living?
I'm courious.

Danny,

Do you think that personal insults make you look tougher or smarter?

They don't.

You are very misinformed about China and the problems at GM.

Take note that a car has three lives. Its first life is as a brand new vehicle with six or so low miles on it that depreciates around two thousand dollars two minutes after you have driven it off the car lot heading home to show the wife and kids, or Mom and Dad.
The second life is as a used car, called pre-owned now. This car is a good bet. The third life is as a cheap heap sold to you by “Honest Joe,” at Joes Trading Post. We all have dealt with Joe’s Trading Post some time in our lives.(Please forgive if a Joe’s Trading Post really exists)
In any event the best bet is the second pick, which is a car that has already proven its worth on the road by some other soul who wishes a brand new car that smells so good and is the pride of his family, until the first payment of the month comes in.
Not much of a chance for Detroit to recoup their losses, not if we all buy that used car.
But remember, if we choose the second car we will set ourselves up as an example of Cuba who has fifty year old used cars galore. Not a new car exists on that island. Our fault of course.
But remember also every car has had to be a brand new car in its life, even if it makes it to its third life.

LoL.... "Waaaaaa"

All I hear from Repulicans these days is crying and denial. If im wrong, HOW AM I WRONG???????

LOL.

Moron.

When did the right get such soft skin?

---

And YES. I am right about China and GM.

I have personally visited China, and had a personal tour of Beijing by a very lovely US born who worked in the state department.... I also traveled over 1,000 miles in the Chinese countryside..... Even their "hicks" are smarter than ours....

I have also spent time at GM HQ in Detroit, and have a best friend who still has a job there.

I know what is going on.
I know what I am talking about.

Do you?

You say nothing of substance.

"When did the right get such soft skin?"

It's not a question of soft skin but rather cleanliness.

I don't want to wallow in the mud of personal insults like you do.

"I have personally visited China, and had a personal tour of Beijing by a very lovely US born who worked in the state department.... "

So now you can eat rice with chopsticks and that makes you an expert on all things Chinese.

I don't think so.

Anyway, I like the Chinese too.

But not enough to turn our economic future over to them.

We need a new policy for China that reduces imports from them and keeps more jobs in America.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Taurus

Your spirits are high and you're feeling great! It's a super day for doing whatever appeals to you, provided it involves plenty of enjoyment and laughter. The thought of struggling through a pile of work is likely to leave you cold, and you'll be tempted to put it off until you're more in the mood. If you can, visit somewhere new now.
