So Frank, if a product is made in the USA, but in a non-union shop, are you saying that product is crap and not worth buying?

No I am just saying I will buy union before non-union.

I talked my friend who was buying a car to avoid a GM (govt. motors) car. Told him to buy a Ford instead.

Why? What makes union better than non-union?

You're not open minded at all because you just said that you're open minded about your countries vehicles, but only if they're made by a union. Explain to me how that is being open minded? You constantly contradict yourself.
Also, foreign automakers are employing more and more American workers as they open up plants in the U.S.(ex. Honda, Toyota, BMW, Kia, Hyundai..) while U.S. automakers close more and more U.S. plants.
Oh by the way, again if you actually read what I wrote I excluded some cars from the Big 3 that I actually respect, but you only read what you want to read or comprehend (not sure which one it is) so you'll keep pounding your chest about being American, but only if it's built by some union worker at a UAW specific plant because obviously a non UAW American worker working for the Big 3 isn't good enough for you. That doesn't sound like patriotism to me.
Again, I'm not moving Frank. I think YOU need to move because it's thought processes like yours that perpetuate incomplete and inaccurate information to other people just because you can't look at the facts even though they are right there in front of you.
Unlike you people I like to keep Americans employed I try to buy American when ever I can.

Frank, how about an actual answer.

What makes union made so much better?(and don't say fairness or safety, because there are laws and stuff for that)

Some of the best stuff in America has been made with non-union labor.

Frank,
To be fair (and I think I am), no one is putting you down because you support your country. People are putting you down because you put OTHER people down for exercising their right to choose.

Come on Frank...think about it.

By the way, tell me the brand of sneakers/tennis shoes you wear and where you buy them.

CAR BUYERS JUDICIOUSLY STAND BY GM.

SCANDALS! SCANDALS! SCANDALS!

DANGER! DANGER! DANGER!

GEORGE W. BUSH IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS CRIMINAL STALKER AND SERIAL KILLER!

“In her suit, Margie Schoedinger states that George W. Bush committed sexual crimes against her, organized harassment and moral pressure on her, her family members and close relatives and friends. As Schoedinger said, she was strongly recommended to keep her mouth shut.... Furthermore, she alleges that George Bush ordered to show pressure on her to the point, when she commits suicide”(go to Google, type “blog of drizzten Margie Schoedinger,” and hit “Enter”).

“George [Bush is personally complicit] in the death (murder to be precise) of my friend Margie Schoedinger in September of 2003. Determining the exact whereabouts and contacts of ... George Bush on September 21 thru 22, 2003, should be entirely lacking in difficulty”(Leola McConnell—Nevada Progressive Democratic Candidate for U.S. Senate in 2010).

McConnell is correct: Bush applying pressure (continuously criminally stalking Margie Schoedinger) purposefully to force Schoedinger to commit suicide does in fact constitute murder where it culminated in her death.

Bush’s method of murdering Schoedinger cannot exist in a vacuum: he must have murdered other people in the same way.

During Bush’s presidency, of course Bush would have desired to kill people whom he hated or get them out of his way. Insofar as Bush was clearly capable of murdering Schoedinger—even in “broad daylight”—and is clearly capable of getting away with it, in consideration of common sense and the laws of human nature, Bush of course murdered numerous people in the disgusting way he murdered Schoedinger. One can examine public information; in various situations where people who sought to oppose or disadvantage Bush ever so frighteningly ended up “committing suicide”—specifically—Bush murdered them just like he murdered Schoedinger. For example, Bush murdered James Howard Hatfield by continuously criminally stalking Hatfield to the point that Hatfield could not get away from it—purposefully to force Hatfield to commit suicide—and Hatfield committed suicide in desperation to escape. However, the vast majority of such scandalous cases will never come out (the grisly details are typically hard to substantiate). A prosecutor really can lawfully charge a former president with murdering one or more people in the disgusting way Bush murdered Schoedinger. The American people unfortunately live in a world where evil presidents can murder any number of people—figuratively—with a wave of a magic wand and get away with it.

Again you ONLY support American union workers. You support NO other American workers. Very close-minded.

Freedom of choice obviously doesn't exist in your household. Oh wait, it does. It's called you have the freedom to choose what you like as long as it was made in the USA by a unionized American employee that is employed by an American company.

Well first of all I don't wear sneakers or tennis shoes I wear boots. I am not the sneaker or tennis shoe type. The brand of shoes I buy are Carolina and I order them through a catalog. I own a pair of Rockys also made in the USA.

Oh WOW! Let's give him a round of applause folks. Yeah, great job there buddy. How about you let your friend buy it and see if it's actually a bad car or not. Not all GM cars are bad! If they were, they wouldn't exist right now. Pathetic! You probably were one of the people who shunned Windows Vista too. You know why? Because you see one bad opinion, grab it and run with it to feel intelligent. Well your not! This truly is sad that people feel the need to jump in now on every car deal and spew their garbage about it when there really isn't a serious problem with the car. Hold on frosty, I have many GM vehicles for my family and the business I own. No longer though since they are owned by the GOVT. I hate bailouts and am against them ! Perhaps you should wise up and go with a company that doesnt take a govt. powder!

Who the heck cares if they take a bailout or not, does that change their products? We will always have companies taking bailouts as long as they are offered. I personally don't care since I have always witnessed taxpayers' money being spent on such ridiculous garbage. I just don't care anymore since there isn't enough of an outcry to stop it. So, on that note, how exactly does that change their products? I have seen no change and I am still looking forward to the new Camaro.

I like to support the people that stand together for a good paying job and good benefits not the push overs that go to work for next to nothing. There are many plastic manufacturers in my area not one makes more than 10 dollars an hour with no benefits.
