Obama cites auto bailout as administration triumph- Obama, GOP clash over whether to spend or save

Full story: Fox News

President Barack Obama wears his decision to rescue General Motors and Chrysler three years ago as a badge of honor, a move to save jobs in an industry that helped create the backbone of the middle class more than a half-century ago.

President Obama has been brilliant in his actions to save this economy from falling into a deep depression as he pulled it from the Bush recession. The American Auto Industry was saved (single-handedly) by this President; and to think, Mitt Romney want the American Auto Industry to go under… wow, he really does like to fire people.

Move jobs to China, he means. How is that a success? It's a success if you want to kill off America. Texas will not put up with the Keystone Pipeline decision. Gas emitted by tankers bringing the oil in from the middle east, and consumers having to pay high prices for dragging the tonnage in ships is not a solution to the environmentalists.

http://www.tedcruz.org/blog/2012/01/31/senate...

A group of Senators moved this week to reverse President Obama’s rejection of the Keystone Pipeline, which would potentially generate billions in revenue for Texas and create tens of thousands of jobs. This is yet another example of the Obama Administration catering to radical special interests set on overregulation, rather than getting government out of the way.

WRITE YOUR SENATORS AND REPS!

Hussein is not just a name for Obama, he clearly after 3 years has shown he is partisan to Islamic interests. He claims Iran is a small country and of no danger to the world. He's stupid for thinking Americans are stupid. With an Iranian dual citizen Valerie Jarrett as senior advisor who runs the WH, did you think he would let Iran lose profits from oil with the Keystone pipeline???

Ford motor company did just fine without any bailout money. They managed to survive without government handouts.I suppose Obama wants to take credit for the success of Ford even though they did it on their own. What a tool!

Triumph? It's no triumph when taxpayers are still sitting on 335-million, practically worthless shares of GM, when Obama directed the closure of 14 automobile plants, when it directed the closure of 1,100 dealerships.

Don't see Obama bragging about the hundreds of dealers forced out of business, the tens of thousands who lost their jobs, the bond holders who got screwed out of money that was owned them, the usurping of the bankruptcy court, the total disregard for the bankrupcty laws to favor only certain people, white collar workers who lost all of their pensions, the billions the government admits we will never get back, and finally the balant favoritism shown to the UAW to ensure they got everything they wanted. Seems he forgot to mention those things.

Gore didn't carry Texas in 2000, Kerry got his butt kicked in 2004, Nobama didn't carry Texas in 2008, therefore Texas isn't going to be in their consideration. It's not about whats best for the USA, but what is best for their greedy little socialist minions.

When California had massive wildfires, Texas sent over 300 firefighters to help. Nobama grounded the tankers last summer during the Texas wildfires. We will remember in November!

By what authority does the President simply create money out of thin air and give it to a private company be it GM or anything else? So just because you're an idiot and a liberal and looking at Obama makes your pepe stiff you are willing to throw your freedom down the toilet while politicians trash the only protection you have against absolute tyranny which is the Constitution of the United States?
