Philip Morris owns Kraft. They have moved much of Krafts production to plants they own in Canada and some to South America since taking over.
They are looking at moving additional lines to Mexico along with Hersheys.

As a soon to be unemployed Canadian Worker, I can honestly say that Canada does not look like the destination of choice for products...seems most of ours are moving to USA or sold off. We'll be closed by end of Oct '08 we're told. |

agree with heynows comment at the kraft plant i work at managers are all buddies and are unqualified for their jobs and vastly overpaid
