The drug was given to women. Aid can infect anyone gay or straight. Not having a drug to prevent or treat it has an impact on everyone.

the women are infected by their male f__k buddies, who contracted the disease from prostitutes (women with very few options in life to survive, so they become the sperm sponges for the filthy dirty disease spreading heterosexual community). it's the straight disease that has gone home to rest.

Truvada has already been approved, in this country, for use by MSM who are considered to be at high risk of infection. Taken daily, in conjunction with safer sex practices, it's been shown to reduce the risk of infection by more than 75%. It is not meant to replace safer sex, but to supplement it. While significantly reducing the risk of infection, it does not eliminate it entirely and those on it, do run a risk of side effects. Truvada is far from perfect, but it is the first drug combination that has been proved to have any significant preventative benefit. This study was the first to see if it would be as effective for women who have sex with men, as it is for MSM. It wasn't.
