And you forget unemployment was 7.6% when Reagan took office, but in two years, unemployment soared to 10.8%?
3.2% increase in unempoloyment in JUST TWO YEARS!
I do agree however that jobs focus would have been the right path instead of going after health care first.
Is Reagan up for re-election?

I think the comment was that Obumbles hasn't even made an effort on jobs the first 2 years. Why? He know he'd lose a lot of congressional power, so he put his commie agenda before people who are out of work, using unemployment benefits to plug the holes. Now he lost congress and is all of a sudden serious about spending, deficits, and jobs.

What a dick

Ramping up? When did he ever stop? It's all he has done since being elected to the Senate :)

I remember the Reagan years well. During his first term I feared losing my job constantly. So did everyone else.

In 1979 gas prices hit an all time high. Ford Motor was within 45 minutes of filing Chapter 11. Those were some dark days. But I don't remember Reagan or his staff getting side tracked on less important issues. It was all about the economy and jobs 24/7.

During his second term his economic policies began to take hold and this country enjoyed 15 years of economic growth.

The American people have been screaming jobs and the economy for 2 years and have been completely ignored by the Democrats. They paid the price in 2010. If unemployment doesn't improve dramatically and if the price of gas his $4.00 per gallon, Democrats will pay dearly in 2012.

Obama’s policies may have prevented another great depression.

“A recent study by two prominent economists generally agrees, crediting the pump-priming with averting ‘what could have been called Great Depression 2.0.’"

True Economic Success depends on WE THE PEOPLE, not TRAITOR politicians.

We the people DEMAND the following:

Disban and strip the Federal Reserve replace it with JF Kennedy's Executive Order 11110. Bring back the U.S. Note which are interest free and will save trillions in interest. NO more paying the Federal Reserve which is a PRIVATE COMPANY.

Stop all taxpayer funds from being sent out of the U.S.A.

Defund all medicaid, food stamps, WIC, HUD, free lunches.

Reduce the givememorement by 50%.

Defund and disban the Department of Education, Department of Energy, Department of Commerce, Freddy MAC and Fannie MAY, the EPA, all Czars and duplicate programs.

Repeal NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT, and withdraw from the WTO and the U.N.

Deport all Illegal alien invaders. Stop all taxpayer funding to La Raza, MALDEF, NPR, Mecha, and all open border groups. Stop the anchor baby loophole.

Ban all lobbyist.

Put the feds back in their Constitutional place.

Stop all corporate welfare. Stop all TIF projects. Stop all duplicated programs.

Tariff all product at 50% that used to be made in the U.S.A. that has been outsourced off shore and imported back the the U.S.A..

Open all oil fields.

Bring our military home and place them on the borders to protect them.

Repeal Obamacare.

Repeal the patriot act.

Enact a balanced budget law.

Use all savings from the above to pay off the debt.

UPDATE: Hawaii governor says Obama's birth record 'exists' but can't produce it...

BACKTRACK: Now Hawaii won't release birth info...

ABERCROMBIE SAYS HE HAS DONE EVERYTHING HE CAN TO PRODUCE IT......Except ask Obama publically to authorize him to show what is in the files.........oops almost forgot that little tidbit. Ask president Obama why he continues to hide his BC and his school and travel records.
