Rates on 30-year mortgages rise to highest level in 7 weeks
Rates on 30-year mortgages remained above 6 percent, edging up to the highest level in seven weeks and reflecting continued financial market concerns about inflation.

What they don't tell you is that historically a more normal home ownership rate is 64%. There are still a lot of homeowners that wouldn't be homeowners in more normal times.
