Rates on 30-year mortgage fall sharply

“With lower consumer spending and personal income gains in October, interest rates on U.S. Treasury securities fell lower this week and mortgage rates followed”

That would be a good thing if the banks would not tell you that you need to be late before they can help you in any way, if the can, I think this will help some, but will not help what's coming, banks are not willing to help and I know because I have some clients that wants to refi and they can't we call the bank and they will not help untill my clients are late on the mortgage, so tell me how that would bring the market up?

Jenny,
I don't think the goverment should get involved,it was the banks,mortgage companies and the people getting those loans that are at fault.and the fault is largely people appling/accepting loans that they can't afford!So yes they should lose the house.

Are you saying people shouldn't get what they don't pay for? Makes sense to me. I don't think it is fair for everyone else to pay for your mistakes. That sounds too much like we don't like people who are successful, keep their word, and make good decisions. We really need to start taking care of people who make the right choices. It just sounds harder and harder to do the right thing anymore.
