Kudos to Peter Phillips and his class for finding the stories behind the stories, the news behind the news. It would be interesting to see some of the stories that didn't make it on to this list. I'll bet there were hundreds.

He forgot the biggest. The peaceful Maoist coup being waged by Barack Obama, but that is public and it isn't called Maoist. Just "Hope and Change."

Items 1, 4, 6 and 8 are the most important items. Item 2 is not that important, the kids aren't graduating because of their attitude towards education. Item 3, it is a shame that toxic waste is being dumped in Somali shores but that does not excuse the piracy. Item 5 is it possible to do without lead and mercury? Any scientists want to tackle that question. Item 7 what corruption? Maybe the analysts did not have the best interests of the United States in mind. When I see the word "corrpution" associated with a politicain I'm thinking about bribes and kick backs. Item 9, it doesn't matter what weapons the Isrealis use the Palestinians and most of the Middle East are going to hate us anyway. Item 10, who cares about Ecuador?

So where is Obama going to find the peasants to lead the Revoloution? In the meantime why don't hide under your bed with Al Reine until 2012.

I just love to wear nothing but a smile, and my pink fuzzy slippers for my man Barack. He love me so much, he would give me the hair off his manly chest.

Wear a condom. I wouldn't want you to get "Hind Flu".
