They should put tighter controls on the housing industry, at least for sub-prime loans and should NOT, repeat, NOT to infinty.... bail out the industry.
They got themselves into this situation themselves, by pushing adjustible APR loans that they KNEW some of these people who they were giving loans to would not be able to pay back when the APR was adjusted upwards.
