Bush is right to blame Bill Clinton and the liberals for the soaring oil prices at the pump, for damaging US economy, damaging US national security and for causing the losing of US independence to Islamic terrorist regimes.
Since Bush took office in 2001 he was fighting for using America’s own oil resources that are available all over the country including ANWR and in US waters in abundant amount of oil, coal, oil shale, hydrates, gas and tar that can be easily converted to gasoline.
However, the liberals are holding the American people as hostages to the environmental psychos’ and keep telling lies about future alternative fuel that is not available today. Get over it, the imaginary alternative fuel will never be available to solve the high oil prices when China and India causing to major demand that is not available elsewhere other than US land and waters
President Bill Clinton was the first to shut down oil drilling in ANWR and all over US land and sea to make American people to lose their freedom to Islamic terrorist of the Middle East.
If Bill Clinton was not rushing to kill US independence and to send checks of trillions of dollars to the Islamic terrorist suicide bombers through Saudi Arabian King Abdullah US could have today energy independence.
With US own oil independence oil prices were not going above 2 dollars a gallon compared to today's pump price of $4 a gallon that is transferred to hateful Islamic terrorists that aim at killing our US troops.
If US were not forced by the Bill Clinton and the anti-American and delusional liberals to finance the Islamic terrorist under the Iranian regime and al Qaida through the high oil prices, US economy and national security could be improving and growing rather than falling down and deteriorating.
Enough is enough with corrupt and lying America hater liberal politicians like Charles Schumer and the Clintons that force US to lose its independence and to suffer setback in US economy and its national security only to become hostages of Islamic terrorists’ regimes that seek the demise of US.
It is time to block the US Senate and House of representative parking lots with 18 wheeler trucks and close the evil un-American politicians there until they allow oil drilling in the US under EPA conservation rules.

All of Washington bears blame (ditto for state legislatures). No elected official endures the pain of gas prices, grocery bills, et cetera. They don't...because we pay for all their necessities (and non-essentials)with our taxes.
Where else than government can you be guaranteed a salary with C.O.L.A., automatic pay raises and a pension for life? And you don't need a GED or a college degree!!!!

What about the LAST 6 years of the congress??????? From 2000 until the end of 2006, it was a Republican controlled congress. Does Bush mean that he thinks the REPUBS screwed up??????? arrrrgh! That is BLASPHEMY, isn't it???
The facts are that the WHOLE CONGRESS is CORRUPT, and they will NEVER CHANGE. They are making money, money, money, TAKING YOUR TAXES AND SPENDING IT ON THEMSELVES, giving to oil companies, their friends, other countries, while OUR COUNTRY goes down the TUBE. Why can you people not S-E-E this?????
The PEOPLE are going to HAVE to STAND UP to these VARMINTS, and the current ADMINISTRATION, who are A-L-L STEALING US B-L-I-N-D.
Nice try…Have you ever heard about the so called ‘filibuster’ by Schumer and the interruption of the operation of the Senate when GOP could not get 60 votes between 2001 and 2006...?
Yes, you know that liberals led by Hillary prevented any domestic US oil production that could have kept gasoline price below $2.00 a gallon and could keep our economy growing and could keep our independence as a country.
US was blessed with abundant amount of oil, oil shale, coal, gas, tar and hydrates that all can be converted to gasoline cleanly and according to EPA rules.
China is converting coal to gasoline for half the price that we pay to the Islamic terrorist oil rich regimes that pay Bill Clinton 15 million dollars for lobbying for them.
Nevertheless, liberals are selfish and un-American and they will keep lying about Al gore's imaginary alternative fuel that will never be found on Planet Earth.

Think you have missed a few points here. Out west the rpoducers are getting paid 20-30 dollars a barrel, the oil is refined locally in small refineries, so no appreciable transportation cost, production cost has been relatively the same for decades. The marketers are getting the same dollar amount per gallon as the imported, already refined, supertanker, high dollar gas. What's wrong with this picture? By the way european nations have been doing coal gasification for nearly a century now. Not that the technology isn't there. While we pretend we need to reinvent the wheel - what lobby group do you suppose is stopping that? Just about all of the oil produced in Alaska and shipped by the Alaska pipeline goes to foreign concerns - so much for domestic production solving the problems. If you ever get your head out of your liberal hating ass long enough you may find this problem has no party affiliation and affects us all as Americans. And then maybe something might get done. Funny how when you mention a windfall profits tax how everything drops. And if I was Halibuton right now I would be buying all the cheap gas I could find, not have the shipping cost and sell it to US troops for what we are paying for it here, which is exactly what they are doing. Oooo Go Figure.

Bullshit.

Bush and Newt and the "Contract with America" Congress wrecked the US economy, and we are seeing the results echo and redound around the world.

Clinton's Presidency w marked by economic growth, prosperity for all, and a world PAX AMERICANA.

Soaring oil pricese are a direct result of the policies of the "born again christian-neo conservtive coalition.
Your blaming of "liberals" does not even mane any sense. What power have "liberals?"

Liberals talk and talk and lie...Enough with talking. Let the American people use their own oil resources.
With the increase in demand in China and India we will pay $200 a barrel and $10 a gallon gasoline at the pump as soon as July.
Nothing will stop the increase in oil price that will kill our economy and will cause the defeat of US troops in the Middle East which is why Saudi Arabia and Iran are sending the price through the roof.
Liberals, Let the American people use their own oil for the freedom of the American people that may be lost to evil Islamic terrorist. Will you...?

Some myths need to be dispelled. High gas prices are the result of a cartel (can anyone say collusion), and speculators. Who is a speculator today? In this electronic world, it could be anyone...a Soros or a Buffett or some newly annointed billionaire from China.
Ethanol? From corn? There are few that gain from it...certainly not the farmer. Cargill, Archers McDaniel yes. Net negative? More fertizers, pesticides, herbicides, huge water requirements for processing and diminished crop for consumption.
The solution? Bush touted switchgrass. Duh! Hemp can serve multiple needs many times over. But it is illegal. Booze was once that too, but is now okay.
Housing meltdown? The brainchild of liberal dems who wanted a chicken in every pot, two car garages and a house for everyone. Problem? Inanely simple rules for applications for those without means. Translation? Another buttf**k for taxpayers.
Given that disaster, and the unholy wedding between lawmakers and teachers unions, it is no wonder that the student loan thing is a bust as well.
So.........when was the last time you voted for change????????

Someday you need to check the record on lies and examine how in the world any intelligent person could possibly believe a Republican Conservative - they don't exist - just a package of business tools bent on greed and the destruction of the American people. Defeat by the way isn't an option in a no-win war it's a fact - get your logic straight Jones. I do agree we should stop all oil exports if that's what you meant.
