I would agree people that drive Rangers are truly "nerds". This vehicle had some of the lowest quality ratings in Consumer Reports. And, who wants to sit in a vehicle like this? I'd rather ride on a moped.

To all you Coleman bashers out there, see what this great man has done: he saved the plant. I hope you all call his office to congratulate him.

It's nice to see the plant remain open, but I'm afraid it will be very short lived. Gas prices have been dropping rapidly in the past week so large vehicle sales will resume.

John Krenik wrote: In the end it took Norm Coleman’s dedication to St. Paul to seal the deal with Ford, something current mayor Chris Coleman failed to do. Norm Coleman flew out and met with Ford, calls were made at all levels of Ford. Norm Coleman engaged Ford and in the end his efforts were successful. Norm was able to bring people together to get the job done. Norm did not give up on St. Paul when the going got tough. Norm Coleman advocated for St. Paul, as if he was still mayor. It is sure good to have Norm Coleman still looking out for our city and good jobs. Norm was the best mayor in the last 100 years of St. Paul's history.
Thank you Senator Norm Coleman! Sincerely, John Krenik I would like to know, is Norm Coleman a Democrat or Republican, OH! I guess it does matter, he brought hockey. WHAT A JOKE!!

at the end ! at last Ford and others have understood that producing and selling big SUV is a "has been" strategy. Since years Europeans fight to reduce fuel consumption meanwhile american constructors continues with 4.6L, 5.0L and 6.0l engine ! for sure there has been a lack of vision...

But what after 2011? From what I heard the Highland Park plant is the oldest Ford plant. One of the things going against it is the cost for retooling.

Saint John - Dont forget the 5.4L Triton. Were never giving ours up and trucks are never going to go away. Even if indivuduals cant afford them business like construction companies will always create a need for them.
