I just can't seem to make the leap of logic used by these groups to justify this kind of outright anti-gay targeting.

And they say WE have an agenda.....

What in the world are these people thinking of ? Get a life and stop these stupit boycott. Ford can sell car to who every they want. If there is a market for their product, then they have the right to do what ever it takes to market the product to those who wants it.

Ok Debby, I know that queer still doesn't play well in some parts of the country, but you gotta know that there are many of us out here who prefer the word queer for many many reasons. For me, gay does not fit since I am attracted to more than just the TWO genders usually on the list, men & women but remember the T in LGBT my friend and as I biological male I am attracted to both men and transgender men (pre, post or non-op). Regarding the FORD boycott, all I can say is NOT AGAIN, didn't these fools not feel the last slap from the LGBT community in Dec. Ok "focus on the family" go ahead and boycott Ford then look into the faces of the laid off workers--30,000 over some years I last heard--and tell those Ford families who will now be out of work just how your focus on their family rights are working to put food on the table.

Who cares who drives what,as long as they sell them?
Kia will be happy to sell their vehicles too! I think there is enough hatred in the world, without carrying on about who has the right to drive which vehicle. I can't see what difference it makes to anyone which magazines the car makers advertise in! Wouldn't that be up to them to decide? As long as you don't have to pay for the advertising, who cares! I would only worry about it , if someone wanted me to make their monthly payments. As for me I drive a ford Explorer. Great suv. I have to admit it
straight or gay Ford is a great vehicle! This argument is stupid!!

Ford has tried very hard to stay neutral in this PR debacle, but it's impossible to appease both sides here. Ford has to be very annoyed it got caught up in this situation. They're certainly not the only company that advertises in gay magazines. In my opinion, this mess wasn't really any fault of their own.

You can't appease the Religeous right. They want nothing more than to eliminate gay people from every aspect of society. Just like the KKK, except the use bibles instead of wearing a hood. Enough said...

Check out this column written by Leonard Pitts, Jr. in the Miami Herald last week: http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/living/c...

In it, he mentions that he would love to hear about a "Christian group boycotting to feed the hungry, or marching to house the homeless, or pushing Congress to provide the poor with healthcare."

It seems that far too many "Christian" groups only know how to mobilize when it comes to spreading hatred and bigotry. How sad our Lord must be when he watches the actions of some of his followers!

Please don't suggest we are all bigots.I don't think it matters who drives what. I myself would prefer a mercedes, but it's not in my price range.
Likewise, I don't think it's up to us to condem or condone someones life style. I have enough trouble looking after myself. I judge people on their merits, not on anything else. Why? Because it's none of my business!

Yes Ford has the right to do what they want and we as consumers have the right to let it be known and choose not to but there products! Let’s face it this isn’t about hate this isn't about individual rights. Ford is pumping millions of dollars to organizations whose #1 priority is destroying traditional marriage of one man one woman. This is a union created by God not man! As a father, husband and a man I choose to love my neighbor not love the Sin. Ford has gone overboard and is in full support of destroying marriage and promoting pornography. Ford gives a $1000 a vehicle sold to groups whose #1 goal is to bring down traditional marriage. Does Ford donate a $1000 a vehicle sold to pro-family groups? No. Bill Ford and his executives have made their point clear, and now I will take the bumper sticker off my truck that says “I would rather push my Ford than drive a Chevy” and trade my F-250 in for a Silverado.

If I was Bill Ford or anybody important at Ford I would buy time on national TV and tell all you self righteous fatheads that we will advertise anywhere we think our advertising buck will do the most good. And if I was gay I'd buy a ford just to spite these narrow minded idiots.

They are using the same shake down tactics that 'Ol Jesse Jackson utilizes.

When are these companies going to stop pandering to specific groups no matter what they are promoting.

The real issue here is the Anmerican car companies better start making a vehicle that can compete with the perceived longevity of the Japanese auto manufacturers. That coupled with styling, power and fuel economy will save them extinction

Screw the boycott. Absolutely ridiculous. Look at the ad on this page. www.gaywheels.com - is your car gay friendly? I'm starting my own anti ford boycott.

Ford obviously has realized the huge market among gays for their product. Subaru is a strong supporter of gay charities and issues, and has really garnered support from the gay community. In case anyone is wondering...gays are a huge voting block as well.

did you know that it's the high end cars that ford is 'marketing to gays'? cars like the jaguar and such which moronic pickup driving cowboys can't afford.
