What do "high priced attorneys" have to do with an oldies act on the lower rung of show biz? And why is it so hard for the concept that false advertising is illegal to permeate your thick skull?

Have the AG handle the other issues that concern the State as a WHOLE. This might be too complex of a concept for you, but "double dipping", as you call it, is not illegal. Copyright infringement is. Incidentally, you might want to go back to school and learn how to spell.

Maybe we should start going after all the kids using Limewire while we're at it. And book resellers. OH and the people recording music off the radio, because we're not losing thousand of jobs in the state so we have nothing else to worry about.

Did I say I didn't? The fact that you have to resort to criticizing users spelling and using a sarcastic tone implies your argument is poor. Not to mention, you avoided my question with posing another one. Since I am not going to be evasive when asked a direct question, I will answer yours. It has to do with the fact that this state constantly avoids tackling the important issues they are posed with and diverting to issues that are not going to make much of a difference in the vast majority of voter's lives. They fail to manage to keep big business in this state, yet they persecute entertainers for using a name. I can't understand how anyone can feel this is an important CT state issue when we have so much more important things that effect a VAST majority of our taxpayers to tackle.

I worded the above post the wrong way: I meant to say you did not address my point, not my question, since there is no direct question there, simply an implied one.
So I will pose it now: should we go wasting time going after the kids using Limewire and the book resellers at fairs around the state?

But your metaphor has nothing to do with this article. A better comparison would be asking if the authorities should be concerned by the practice of "baiting and switching"...to which the correct answer remains..."yes".

The state d.o.l. counted 10,000 jobs lost in june and july. They then reported that unemployment improved to 7.8% from 7.9%. Investigate that fraud by state employees. It has cost the taxpaying people of this state who are unemployed 7 weeks of additional benefits. Come on AG you wouldn't even have to walk far to investigate and get your picture taken again for the news.We know how you love to get your picture taken.
