Hey states attorney I have a bunch of kids driving around my neighborhood on suvs illegally. Can you come and fix that please. Or how about the pot holes that never go away on the bottom of candlewood hills, can you come and make that solid forever. There are so many groups out there pretending to mimic other older groups. If most of these groups were 20 years old in 1950, how old does that make them in 2009. First off you must be dumber than a door nob to think the Platters are coming to Ethan Allen Hotel. Some people just like being fooled.
Try going to see the group JERSEY BOYS who mimic , Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. They can still sing , you just cant use their name.

I seen the Platters in 1980 at the Red Parrot in NYC 25 years ago . They could hardly stand up then and do any dances , How on gods planet do you think they can still do the same dance moves ?

I don't understand how some of you cannot see the problem here,for starters they are obtaining money falsely.This is quite meaningful and this is what the attorney General get paid for. Its not his job to take ilegals off the street, there are agencies allocated for this purpose. Why dont you people who have problems with ilegals contact the appropriate agency ICE. Just for the records these people have jobs, some pay social security(that they never collect as they go back to their country at some point) they contribute to the economy.

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that 500 State employees are double dipping and THAT story gets 3 paragraphs - where as people impersonating the Platters gets a statement from the AG and immediate action.

Priorities - someone needs to hold a class for our polititions on priorities!!

Let the high priced attornies handle the Platters.

Have the AG handle the other issues that concern the State as a WHOLE.
