Eathan Allen does not build their furniture in US. It is crap they import from overseas. Then they either put the parts together here, or they finish it here. then they call it: Made in USA. |

Problem is, you have to be pretty rich to avoid Chinese goods, while us poorer folks are stuck with store-bought Chinese (and Indain, Thai, Honduran, etc.) furniture and other goods. Not enough rich folks to make a difference, probably. |

There are a few pieces from China sold at Ethan Allen, but come on, over 65% made in America - no one comes close.

1 Yes. The quality used to be questionable on some pieces. The quality now is equal to what EA used to be. Most important....Bob knows the customer is always right. EA hasen't learned that yet. |

2 That is what my Dad always said but it is really hard ..even though Harley Davidson says made in the USA the parts are made in Japan and assembled in the USA thus they can say made in the USA.That is true with a lot of things that say made in the USA.The companys should be made to say assembled and made in the USA. |

Completely misinformed. I am a dealer of 37 years. Over 70% of Ethan Allen is manufactured in the US. Just visited two of our plants a month ago. The commitment to quality has never been higher. Want proof just contact me for a chat. |
