I'm going to guess "China's only supermodel".
She's really not that pretty but she is tall.
Won't find that a lot in the Hunan region.

We have enough supermodels. No one can
afford these ugly, over priced clothe lines
anymore anyway. Such a stupid waste of time
when 40 million Americans are living on
food stamps and welfare.

Working in a college here in China, can you imagine the amount of super model material I see here? Plus they have brains to go with the looks.

I have lived in Asia for over 4 years and I am not impressed, Jim.

Please explain your logic.

Not impressed with Asia = I am not happy where I am?

I would not want to live in an area I did not like. Done it, been there, for me it sucked. 15 years in Reno Nevada, the Armpit of the west did it. The only saving grace was learning how to sail at Lake Tahoe.

Well, yeah. Afghanistan does suck. I won't be here much longer though. My year is almost up...

Yes that sucks, but think of this, 1967 a person wouldn't dare speak ill of the government. Now people do speak out. In time they will have as much freedom to speak out as we do, and they will soon realize that free speech is not what it's cracked up to be. For one, there will be a billion voices trying to down out the other billion voices, and two, what good is free speech when no one is listening.

I was in the Air Force in the late 70's, I never felt I was part of any community or county I went too. I always felt like an uninvited guest. It seemed, after my 4 years was up, that being a civilian changed a lot of that perception.

I don't think, being in the military is an honest assessment of an area or country. As much as we may try to hide it when we are off duty, we still look military. I'm not sure how to put it into words, but we seem to ooze the military swagger and once we are out, we lose it.

The world looks a whole lot different out of uniform.
