The sprawl has not stopped. It, along with other parts of our economy, have taken a break and will resume when the outlook is good. Now is the time to plan properly for that growth and build the infrastructure (including the ability to carry mass transit) to support it.

Behm, Falcon Heights, trying to suggest that this is a description of the typical classroom across the state? Why does everything have to be painted with such a broad brush? Why can't we have standards for normal or typical situations, recognize where abnormal or atypical situations exist and deal with them separately?

But if that was the case then there would also not be a need for more light rail would there? Regarding the Stillwater bridge, we all know it's in need of replacement, do we want to wait another 15 years so it will then cost over a Billion?

Every morning the traffic lines up way back into Wisconsin due to either the lift bridge, or the traffic lights in Stillwater. A bridge just south to extend 36 into Wisconsin makes a lot of sense.
