Karen wrote: Please GIVE ADVICE on new sites... I have been listing on ebay for 12 years but I wish to find an alternative site as the final value fees / automative payment rules / lack of payment options / and other conflicts continue to increase. my problem is that while I can find numerous FREE sites, I cannot find a site that has the completed auction option so that I can view what a similar item sold for. I like to do research on pieces I will list. does anyone know of such a site? any suggestions are helpful. I am creator and co-founder of buzzmart.com Give us a try and see if you like it. If not Google ebay alternatives. Good luck

Is anyone ever heart about Bonanza. I am looking for Ebay alternative as well. The way I do, I go to new auction sites and search for some old but very popular stuff. I never was able to find them anywhere other then Ebay and Amazon, but last week I found this site www.bonanza.com and it was really amassing. I searched for Nikon D1 camera and Nikon lenses and other things. It looked like they have same quantity as Ebay does. Any opinion or help. Thank you very much

I did well on Bonanza. But it is a fixed price site, which means you have to label and store every item, that can be a pain when you sell a mishmash of items like I did. I've pined and begged for a new site that ONLY ran auctions and no buy it now. Finally, such a site has appeared- mondro.com (remember the "R") Sure wish the name was less goofy, but the mission statement struck a chord with me: http://www.mondro.com/about.aspx If they can stick to their guns, and do what they say they'll do, I'll auction my stuff off there even if it's gotta go cheap. Been looking for something like this since 2008. Cross your fingers!

Ebay, will meet their fate for when the pendulum swings TOO far one way...it can only come back. The fact is though...will people be so tired of them that they will not care by then. I have sold on ebay for 9 years and have been scammed by buyers and paypal and the so called paypal claims is in itself criminal process. You provide proof of shipping proof os insurance proof of emails aginst the complaining scamming buyer and paypal still sides with the buyer. How is it that paypal is allowed to take our money from us WHILE they say they are deciding a case, WHY is that allowed? it is illegal in my book. I do not have the item the BUYER does and paypal takes my money and the buyer keeps my item and paypal gives them BACk their money IF tyhey paid with a credit card. They tell you to get the police notified and file a appeal, another big joke and the run around. The feedback system is USELESS and should be DONE AWAY WITH. it is all ONE sided...for the buyer. A buyer can NEVER get anything but a 100%. I do not believe anyone at ebay has any COMMON sense only book smart and do not know GOOD business practices. It is illegal what ebay has been doing and a smart lawyer one day will sue them for their unethical business practices. THAT is what it is going to take. US SELLERS NEED TO ban together and get behind ( ONE)( 1) new site and ALL of us start using it and spread the word and THEN get the new site to ADVERTISE ADVERTISE ADVERTISE until the NEW site is a HOUSEHOLD word. That is the ONLY way you are going to get things to change. I am going to check out these new sites and we should all try the SAME site..pick the best one and start spreading the word by email etc. We can & will conquer the misleading scamming ebay site that DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE SELLER. We sellers need to give ebay a message...pull out and stay out. They have it ALL wrong at ebay, I have been telling them for 5 years...IF you did NOT have sellers YOU would NOT need buyers! Get it! get off it ( ebay) and you will see things chage)!

EBAY DOLLARS, Midland, TX, you're a SHEEP. It is pretty clear that eBay's continued raised fees and their attitude that all buyers are honest is why eBay has fallen as far down as they have. They offer sellers little or no protection and buyers now have the reign to commit fraud openly due to how their policies have changed. You seriously are a blind sheep and no doubt a Bush-loving republican.

Thank you very much I just started to sell some items on Bonanza it is slow but looks like a good place to sell. It is growing and has a number of nice features for the seller to use. Also the feedback is setup fair for both buyer and seller. The fees are very fair for the seller. I also sell on eBay and Amazon I am looking for other places to sell on also. We carry a lot of items and need to sell more in this economy

eBay sucks

One of my item got removed even though I have a photo of the receipt posted in the listing. I have been calling and bugging them for an explanation. And today I finally got it. So According to their policy, any user can report any item as fake and they'll remove it. Unless you can get a proof from the brand name, otherwise you can't list it on eBay. What kind of f'ed up policy is that? When I asked the guy I was speaking to, "So what if I get all my family and friend together to report my competitors regardless of the authenticity of their items?" His reply was, "Of course, we would welcome it." What a jerk. Let's just get the hell out of this sucky place and hand our money to somewhere else who would respect small sellers more.

Hi all, Over the last couple of weeks our tech bods have been working extra hard on improving our service and we're pleased to tell you about several fantastic new features we have implemented on our social marketplace platform: The Buzzmart Network Besides improving the overall layout of the Network, we have included a neat feature which allows you to filter Buzzes by friends who are also connected with you on Facebook. You can now see which Facebook friends of yours are also using Buzzmart, making it easier for you to interact with people you already trust and find out what they are up to. Furthermore, we have also added a function which allows you to connect your Twitter account with the Buzzmart Network allowing you to automatically tweet your Buzzmart activity to your followers. A better look for your listings Visitors can now view all listings either in list or gallery mode, making it clearer for buyers to find what they are looking for. Additionally, we have tweaked the way your individual listings look by re-arranging various attributes on the page and adding a zoom function to all listing images. A smarter sell template New features to the sell template include an automated image suggestion tool which fetches images based on the title of your listing. No more worrying about finding the right image for your products. Furthermore, we have included the ability to add UPC, MPN, Brand and ISBN fields to your products so that your listings can get indexed by Google Product Search. Personalized profile pages We have improved the way profile pages display by bringing your listings to the top of the page and giving them maximum visibility which they deserve. You can also link your Facebook fan pages directly into your Buzzmart profile page and interact with other member using our Live Video Chat tool. These are just the first of many fantastic improvements we have coming to the site, so make sure to check us out at www.buzzmart.com Best wishes, George & Tony Co-Founders

I started selling on eBay since they started I work hard to maintain excellent ratings. Lately customers disagree me on descriptions. But I work hard to please my customers even if I loose money. But ebay is now crippling my business from "item not as described" even though the customer is pleased with the outcome. I am at a loss how to proceed.

Hi all, Small yet important update. For all you disgruntled eBay sellers out there. We have just revamped our entire eBay import system with stability improvements and making it much easier for you to import your eBay inventory into Buzzmart with a few simple clicks. We also have the ability to allow imported listings to be synced with Buzzmart on a daily basis, meaning what you sell or newly list on eBay will automatically be removed or imported into Buzzmart without you having to run the import tool every time manually. Moreover, we now have a live webcam facility in our live chat bar so that users, e.g. a seller to an interested buyer, can now show their products live and ultimately build more trust when it comes to completing transactions on our platform. There are a lot more updates to mention and a lot more coming up in the New Year. I would like to wish you all Happy Holidays. Warm regards, George Co-Founder Buzzmart.com
