They did not explain how the discharge occurred, whether she dropped the weapon or bumped into something. This is not something that happens often. Sometimes people are in a rush, not paying attention and this is the result. Thank God she was not hurt to seriously and will recover.

Wow, what a sexist comment. I know plenty of women are capable of handling guns. Let's not forget all the men who don't know how to handle a loaded gun. Like, for instance, Richard "Oh oops! My bad, didn't mean to shoot you in the face" Cheney.

She's an FBI Agent. She's supposed to be trained with firearms, especially her own duty weapon. Who knows what happened? All that training shot to hell.

So, this fortunate 43-year-old "FBI agent" was reported to be in stable condition, "after accidentally shooting herself in the hip in the parking lot of the World Trade Center in Long Beach."
This Special Agent suffered a "self-inflicted" wound from an "accidental discharge" from her service weapon, as FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said.
"The agent was taken to St. Mary Medical Center 'in a great amount of pain,' Long Beach Fire Department Capt. Mike Duree said, adding that she was in stable condition." Yes, that pain. What about Keller and Jo Craycraft? Our Special Agents at the "former" Redondo Beach office? The one they had to close, due to "lack of funds"? Or was there another reason, for dismantling that much needed South Bay operation? We talked about sabotage, and about the grand scale of the corruption, that's undermining our local communities.
But their hands were tied, as were Capt. Popp's, five years before. And our L.A. Special Agent in Charge, he simply quit!--too hopeless, was his explanation. And the "Breeze" was quiet once again! Also orders from higher up?
What do any of these people have to do with the FBI agent that just shot herslf? I don't see the connection between the two.

You "guys" are missing the point. I was in
that parking lot yesterday. The main thing
is that she is okay. Wait until the story
comes out and then post your comments.

Sorry "Karlheinz". Apparently, many of us don't share your "elevated" IQ. Feel free to move on to a more sophisticated forum when you get tired of us average people, you pompous a$$.

I said, there's nothing new about it. Was that too difficult to comprehend? And of course, there was NO Corrective Action; so WHAT do you expect?

Curious will make a generous donation. For all of us. All we need to do is sign the get-well card.

We also give her an instruction manual; for her Glock. In German and in English. Maybe our Arnie can give her some personal instructions. He learned all that, in Graz. But them again, you can only lead the horse to the water, the rest is up to him/her.

Donation? I don't think so, but feel free to make the one yourself. You don't happen to be related to Karlheinz, are you? Like Frazier and Niles maybe?

Of course, just "words," not shiny glitzy and flat labels. The ones we've gotten so used to.

At the beginnibg was only the Word, you remember?

That's where it all began, and then we corrupted it, and made neat-looking labels out of it.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Capricorn

You're in an industrious mood but you'll be happiest if you can be left to your own devices as much as possible. It's not that you're feeling unfriendly, simply that you won't be able to concentrate very well if you're surrounded by lots of people. If you haven't even started writing your Christmas cards yet, try to remedy that at some point today.
