Disney supplier accused of labor abuses

Hey Disney, here is something you might not have thought about. Why don't you get out of the child labor business, set up a few factories right here in the United States and make all the toys you need. How about using some of the thousand of acres you own right here in Florida to build those facilities and pay Americans a decent salary to do the job right. Have you forgot about this great country of ours? I think you have. I guess your answer to that would be, you are now a Global company and have no allegiance to any one country.

Disney could be boycotted, but then stores like walmart should be boycotted as well. The problem is the poor and many hard working people are forced to buy the cheapest of clothing, just as they are forced into many other situations not of their own making, by this fully corrupt government.

Those at the top of this gov are creating stalemates for the sake of money and control, destroying the fabric of this nation and pitting the rich against the hard working and poor, while they hide behind the investors that for reasons of money, naturally demand more and more of the laborers. Labor is the only producer of money.

Take a good close look at how Disney treats their own employees. What makes anybody think they care about people being abused in China. Corporate America and companies like Walt Disney World have caused this around the World. I believe this is why the terrorist took down the World Trade Center in New York.Folks if the terrorist wanted to kill alot of Americans they could have went to a Football Stadium or other places to do the job. Corporate America has screwed many people overseas. Look at what Enron did right here in America? Enron is not the only Company to screw Americans out of MILLIONS!! Walt Disney is very crooked. Folks plese buy the Book "Disney The Mouse Betrayed.It is written by Peter and Rochelle Schweizer. The book was published by Regnery. The book talks about GREED CORRUPTION and even GAY DAYS. And it talks about children at risk. Disney hires crooked cops. Disney will do all they can to protect these criminals. I heard Disney owns the Orange County Sheriffs Department?? Folks are we Imploding in America?? YES!!

Finally a Disney employee who is only working children and not trying to have sex with them. This must be a relief for the Disney PR machine.

What people don't seem to realize is that child labor jobs are all that is keeping some of those families from starving. It's easy to criticize a practice as wrong or immoral from the comfort of your middle/upper income household when you ignore the economic realities faced by some of these 3rd world kids.

NEWS FLASH - China isn't a 3rd world country. It is a country that is consuming more OIL than the USA and building more factories than any other county in the world. CHINA is planning to send a man to the moon. What we have to realize is China, Tawain, and the rest of ASIA workers work for 15 days in a row, and have one day off. They have two national holidays (5 days in a row) per year. I am a fifth generation Floridian, and I am telling everyone, especially my kids. ASIA is eating our lunch, and they have for the past 20 years. USA needs to wake up, get educated, and start inventing some stuff real fast, or we will be the 3rd world county. China doesn't have workmans comp, sick days, or beachside vacations. They work, and are very proud of their products. So, whoever wrote this article didn;t know anything about ASIA manufacturing, and Walt Disney World, or 99% of all MFG of the products we now purchase in the good ole USA, are not doing anything wrong.

Guess what, those children that lost their jobs because of this will now be getting NO Money and will probably starve (even more). THAT is reality regardless whether or not greed and corruption is involved.

Um news flash of course China is a 3rd world country. Since 3rd world by very definition means non allied state between the soviet/american cold war.(Not part of warsaw or NATO)

Since the cold war is over the non-allied definition is absolete but it just happens that China is also still a developing country.

While its coastal cities are metropolitan you need to look no further than the migrant workers and the inland cities to see how poor the average Chinese worker is. What you are describing is just an illusion of the Norm since you are using upper-middle class Chinese living standards and trying to apply them to all Chinese living standards.

Just because a country is rich doesn't neccessarily mean its people are.
