D.R. Horton Swings to 4Q Loss

Given the CEO of Horton quote:

"Market conditions continued to decline in our September quarter as inventory levels of both new and existing homes remained high while pricing remained very competitive,"

This is why they are in trouble along with many homesellers and builders --> "pricing remained very COMPETITIVE".

Reality: homes are still grossly 'competivively' overpriced and have only trickled a couple percent downward. I hope these greedy flippers, homesellers, and builders feel more pain. They are going to need it before they really 'get it' and figure out what the problem is.

There oughta be a law!

How can the 2 top executives Donald Horton and
Don Tomintz be awarded almost $1,600,000.00 (one point 6 million dollar bonuses), not to mention their salaries of $400,000 and $300,000 respectively, plus exspenses after losing so much money and writing off those losses. The stock holders should be irrate with the substancial losses they have incurred. With all the job layoffs in the past year they are still able to collect these huge bonuses. I believe the total pay out for bonuses for these 2 individuals to be in the $45,000,000 (forty five million dollar range) Please google D.R. Bonuses 2007 Unbelievable - How do they sleep at night.
