I was an one of the laid off Dell employees. We were not given any notice when the consumer accts was closed down. They gathered all of us up in meeting rooms regardless of tenure with the company. They then told us we were fired and to go out and clean out our desks. We were greeting with Moore off duty police officers when we cam out of the meeting rooms if fear of retaliation. Dell promised to bring big jobs to OKC tell just did not tell us that it would be short term(0nly 4 years) and at the end regardless of the tenure we had with the company we would be treated so poorly.

And they aren't done yet. 12 more were layed off yesterday. Seems like that are getting around WARN notice by doing a few at a time. It might be a good time to get a lawyer and see what they think about that.

Me 2 writerk, me 2... the entire department was outsourced to Quezon City Philippines, which promptly let the queue go to crap, and then they just opened the printer queue BACK up OKC. I was informed that they were doing this, and the manager that let me go was no longer an employee... makes you wonder....

How does it feel to realize you’re only an asset like furniture ? If you’d taken advantage of educational opportunities you’d have a marketable skill. Instead you only whine about outsourcing.

And once again, a thread is taken on a coma-inducing tangent by the two lovebirds. Here's my theory...WarForOil and FormerMarine are the same person. He just loves to hear himself talk so much he provides both sides of the conversation. No? Well, it was worth a shot...

Can we keep at least some of these threads on-topic? Maybe I should start a new one for you, "Who's right about [insert topic here]-- WarForOil or Former Marine?"

Would that give you someplace else to go and whip out your yardsticks?

Actually, I just like to knit-pick this guy and his snotty, rich troll persona he has created on the world wide web. It is not and never has been about who is right or who is wrong..not once... I have just been enjoying this guys outlandish posts and replying to them to annoy him. And guess what? Everytime he replies, he shows his weekness, everytime he replies I feel good because I know I've annoyed him.

If he would ignore me then I would go away, I am like a Robin Hood Troll, the topics we discuss are never on topic, I agree! I say Robin Hood troll because he will say the most rude and unimaginable things to people, they reply once and maybe even judge his comment.... Not me, oh no, I enjoy this because I know I annoy him.

Oh and Warforbabyoil ( I know you are gonna comeback with something because I've ANNOYED you once again), I am richer and smarter then you!..nah nah nahnah nah!

I'm not annoyed, I'm amused. You're not important enough to annoy me. You have no power whatsoever and my feeling aren't impacted by the loathing of scum. Who cares what the hired help think ?

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Sagittarius

It's difficult to keep your mind on what you're doing today because it keeps wandering off in all directions. There won't be much you can do about this except to be aware of it, and preferably to postpone doing anything very complicated or important until you're less distracted and absent-minded. Unfortunately, you won't get very far with it at the moment.
