Quallity wise, Dell rules. I have a Dell Inspiron 9100 I bought in 2004. Still runs like a champ. I have 2 HP Pavillion dv6000. Both broke down with hardware problems in less than 2 years. The article talks about HP's superior looks. For me reliability comes first and looks second
