Buckhead man tries to open door during Delta flight

A Delta Air Lines flight from Las Vegas was grounded Sunday afternoon when a man from the Buckhead area of Atlanta, returning home, tried to open the cabin door while in flight, officials said.

A pressurised A/C @30,000? Its impossible to open a plug type door @ that altitude. You would have to be Superman. Why don't these stupid reporters explain the laws of physics.

Why would that be an important part of the story? Seems to me the important part of the story is that a nutter got through tsa undetected.

The laws of physics would be hard to overcome, but the law of engineering would be harder, those emergency doors will not open in flight! Engineered that way for that very reason, he could pull on that door till they landed and then it would open... but still looks scary as hell at 30k feet!
