Instead, record performance, record profits, very high morale (still can't find all those DAL haters you mention) by May 01, 2012 a fully intergrated work force (see USAir/UAL). All in all, the AL's 2nd largest merger is reaping #1 results. But a LOL from you. How common.

European regulators said Friday they would open a new probe into a trans-Atlantic joint venture involving Air France-KLM and Delta Air Lines Inc.

RA is now runnig the largest and most profitable airline in the world, with for the most part good happy employees. Even you would have to say, if you wold have to say that is a positive accomplish, but with your bitterness, I guess, that will never come about.

RA/dicky is running the number two U.S. airline. Can't say about happy employees from the small slice the post here. The people I know, that do work there, don't say what you say.

Earlier in the week US Airways (NYSE: LCC ) and Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL ) both reported better-than-expected results. Despite the earnings beats, US Airways sported an industry-high 40% rises in fuel costs while Delta came in with a not-too-shabby 5% uptick in fuel costs. Despite having what appears to be an industry-best performance for Delta, let's not forget that capacity was down 3.5% in 2011 and is expected to fall another 3% to 5% in 2012.

Yet you continue to spit venom at them. Anyone else on that list, that offends you?

Maybe the executives pay should be more in line with the stock value. Maybe if they left some of their bonus money in the company, delta could be more than just, nwa in a new dress. Toad, likes to refer to delta as the campus. I think of it more as the Mustang Ranch. LOL

LOL Obviously you have never been to or read about or know the history of the Mustang Ranch. Most Intl Corps refer to Corp HQ's as a campus (MicroSoft, Intel, JAL, Pepsi) If you ever stopped ur hatred you would know that campus refers to an area where ideas are working together constantly for a greater goal. The old term HQ's refers to cubicals, doors and the lack of info flowing from one dept to another. Man how old are you?

However, I am old enough to know that changing the name doesn't always mean the place has changed. HR is still the personal department, and the campus is still HO's. I really don't like the term Human Resource. Humans are not a resource to be used. If so, you can look at your job and dwindling benefits as wage hedging. The cost of living is sure to go up, and they are betting that they can keep their human resources scared enough to work for less. I hope that when you are my age you still consider yourself lucky to have a job. The way you young pups are thinking... retirement never comes.

skygod wrote: <quoted text> Please tell us what you studied. Its not what he studied, its the fact that he stopped studying. Change has come to every single industry in the world. Thx goodness DAL has a Mgmt team that doesn't run and hide from change. Change is now our friend as long as we have a Corp run by willing smart aggressive people that realize this is a team effort. There will always be the 10% ant everything worker out there. In the past, these 10%er's used their sway to destroy the majority thru hate and lack of goals. It is incredible that DAL has emerged from 2011 w/ 1.2 b profit and the Corp is not fully intergrated yet. So the merger has been proven to be one of the most successful in AL history. Whew its good to be on the winning team after a long spell of loosing.
